The Nine Continents are Jasmine, Baby's Breath, Pansy, Begonia, Xinyi, Rose, Sacred Rice, Cardamom, and Higanbana. 7

Under dynastic regulations, each continent comprises one thousand cities. In Xinyi alone, human settlements occupy roughly one-tenth of the territory; the remaining land contains dangerous regions, alien races, sects, holy lands, manors, and wilderness strongholds. 176

Nine Kings and the Sage

The Nine Continents were originally the nine departments that followed the Nine Grains Sage in conquering the world. After the nation’s founding, their kings were enfeoffed with near-complete autonomy, while the Sage directly governed the skyborne Nursery. 385 586

The Nine Kings did not rebel against the royal family. Instead, they helped establish the earth-vein network, communication tokens, and teleportation arrays that supported a prosperous scholarly era. 586

Earth Vein Network

Before national unification, earth veins were localized private networks maintained by individual holy lands. Afterward, the Sages expanded them into a continent-spanning network, enabling widespread long-range communication and teleportation. 368

The network was later revealed to be far more than infrastructure: the earth veins beneath all nine continents form a vast biological brain, with humanity using it much like neural signals for communication and transport. 848

Founding Era

The Nine Grains Sage unified the world with the nine continental departments, then established a decentralized order in which the Nine Kings governed their respective territories. Earth-vein infrastructure linked the continents and transformed communication, travel, and scholarly exchange. 368 385 586

Tombs and the Great Extinction

The Capital City and its surrounding wilderness accumulated ancient tombs over successive dynasties. These tombs and their inhabitants became an escalating danger across the Nine Continents. 301

During the Great Extinction, ghoul tides and ancient entities attacked continental cities. Xinyi Continent City became a major refuge due to its defenses and Ark access, while displaced forces began gathering around continental capitals. 436

Rose Continent fell after its three thousand wall ancestors were infected, transformed into ape-men, and controlled as puppet attackers. As the crisis spread, most surviving forces abandoned their cities and fled into the wilderness aboard Arks. 450 457

A joint response uncovered and disrupted the hidden mechanism controlling the ape-man transformation, allowing Old Ancestors across the Nine Continents to recover their fur and slow the black rain. 462

Sacrifice Crisis and Liberation

The revival of the Sacrifice caused earth veins across the Nine Continents to tremble, spreading primal fear through cities, wildernesses, and demonic-beast territories. 606

During the final conflict, Nine Grains seized control of the earth-vein super-brain and the Sacrifice’s brain. The ancient False Human manipulators were defeated, the Chronicle of Ages decomposed, and the long-standing shadow of ancient tombs was declared removed from the civilization’s future. 848 854

The victory opened the way for the first human ascension beyond the Transforming Self Realm, ending the era in which the Nine Continents had remained trapped below immortality. 884
