In the Desolate Heaven Realm, he reunited with the Upper Realm Immortal Dust Sect and helped establish a route for sending people and captives to the lower realm, where Zhang Wanzhi remained alive.

The spatial rift closed, but the Reflection Organization prepared to strike the Shadow Prison as Li Xiuchang broke through to the Mystic Immortal realm and faced an approaching force.

• Li Xiuchang and the Immortal Shade Realm’s experts fought the shadows around the Confucian Sage’s demon corpse until the Confucian Sage awoke, sealed his corpse, and revealed Yang Hao’s past connection to him.
• Li Xiuchang discovered that shadows were expanding the spatial rift with a branch of the Sky-Piercing Immortal Tree, then entered the Shadow World to seek allies and locate Wang Jingxing.
• Li Xiuchang met the Reflection Organization and learned that Wang Jingxing had gone to rescue captives, then persuaded the organization to support efforts against the shadows.
• Li Xiuchang and Wang Jingxing coordinated the rescue of stranded cultivators and their allies, while Wang Jingxing severed the branch holding the spatial rift open.
• Li Xiuchang and his companions captured several shadows, but Gui Wuyan remained trapped in a sealed coffin as the spatial rift closed.

He returned to aid the Shadow Prison escape and reunite the Immortal Shade Realm with its missing cultivators, then arranged to exchange cultivation guidance with his senior brothers and sisters.

• Li Xiuchang learned how the Shadow World balanced the front world and searched for Pure Land Country so he could seek the Buddha Ancestor’s help for Gui Wuyan.
• With the Karma Crown and other tools, Li Xiuchang divined that Pure Land Country was connected to a fruit of the Sky-Piercing Immortal Tree and entered the hidden realm.
