Raditz: Me, the Protagonist's Big Brother!
Talot slowly rose from the bed, controlling his Ki as it gathered in his palm.
The snow-white aura could take any shape under the control of his thoughts.
Although Ki at this level had no Destructive Power, it still demonstrated how much control he now had over his own aura.
"I can't say I've reached the point of doing whatever I want, but after reflecting over the past two days, my use of Ki is far beyond what it was before.
"As I become more proficient in using Ki, my body seems to have automatically remembered the feeling. Energy constantly flows through me, strengthening my torso, meridians, and even my internal organs!"
With that, Talot finished summarizing his progress and moved his hands in circular motions.
He looked like someone cultivating martial arts techniques in a wuxia or xianxia world.
And it really did have a little effect. At the very least, after moving like that, he could feel his aura circulating.
It was as though his Ki had been a pool of stagnant water, but under his own guidance, it became flowing water and began to move.
"Leaving everything else aside, after breaking through that bottleneck, I seem to be getting stronger and stronger! My Battle Power should have reached 1,100 points! Maybe... even higher."
He suddenly wanted to see just how high his Battle Power had risen.
Talot activated his Battle Power Detector and carefully controlled his aura, keeping it from leaking beyond a certain range.
In the end, the Battle Power Detector displayed his current Battle Power.
1,150 points.
"Looks like I'm on the right path! To make such a huge breakthrough in just two days would have taken at least several months in the past.
"As expected, the greater the pressure, the greater the progress! Saiyans are meant to grow under pressure, and that's what it means to grow stronger when facing the strong."
After his little monologue, Talot suppressed his Ki again.
This time, though, he suppressed it to 360 points rather than 350.
As he grew older and encountered more things, his strength would naturally increase as well.
Even if the difference between 350 and 360 points was small, gradual improvements were what seemed normal.
A sudden massive increase, on the other hand, would be far more shocking.
"Hm? That aura belongs to Aunt Gine?"
A sudden aura drew near within his senses, instinctively catching his attention.
He had been able to sense things automatically before, but after this breakthrough in his control over Ki, it seemed much clearer.
Talot casually spread out his Ki Sense, and in the next second, he detected Raditz's aura.
He had returned as well.
Knock, knock, knock!
A knock sounded at the door, followed by Gine's voice from outside. "Little Talot, it's time to eat."
Hearing her call, Talot immediately went over and opened the door, maintaining a smile as he said, "Sorry, Aunt Gine. I didn't sleep well last night, so I've been resting. I didn't even realize it had gotten so late."
"I guessed you were asleep." Gine nodded at Talot, then teased him, "It seems you really were looking forward to Bardock coming back last night. Little Talot has grown up and has thoughts of his own now."
That left Talot a little embarrassed. "What thoughts could I possibly have? You're overthinking it, Aunt Gine."
Gine let out a chuckle, then said with a bright smile, "All right, all right, I won't tease you anymore. Oh, Raditz is back too. You haven't seen each other in a long time, and he's really curious about how much your Battle Power has improved."
Her husband had returned, and so had her eldest son. Having the whole family reunited was something she had always hoped for.
As for Talot, she considered him half a son in her heart. He had always been family.
"Really? I'm also curious how much Raditz's Battle Power has increased after training with Prince Vegeta's team for the past few months. The last time we met, I remember it was already at 500 points," Talot replied casually.
The two chatted and laughed as they headed next door.
At that moment, Raditz was circling Kakarot's Incubation Pod, examining his little brother from top to bottom.
Of course, it wasn't his first time seeing him. He had just been away from home for two or three months this time.
"You're still as tiny as when I last saw you, Kakarot. When are you going to grow up?
"Your Battle Power hasn't changed at all either. It's still only 2 points."
Raditz murmured to himself, and as his brother, he could not help feeling a little disappointed.
But Raditz quickly put that disappointment aside.
After all, as the elder brother, even though he was an Elite Warrior, family came first. His little brother was still his little brother.
If his brother was weak, then he could just become a support-type Saiyan in the future.
Having him as a big brother to shield him from the wind and rain would be enough.
The Raditz of this time was vastly different from the Raditz of the future.
At least, with his family happy and harmonious, his young heart carried a great sense of responsibility. That was something Bardock had taught him.
"Grow up quickly, Kakarot. No matter what happens in the future, Big Brother will protect you!" Raditz's words seemed to carry a kind of magic.
For a moment, Kakarot in the Incubation Pod seemed to have heard him. His tiny body trembled a few times before he suddenly opened his eyes.
Their eyes met, and Raditz cried out excitedly.
This also drew in the others, who had just happened to hear Raditz speaking.
Bardock and Gine were quite pleased with Raditz's behavior, and they were also happy that Kakarot had actually opened his eyes.
Talot, meanwhile, had not expected Raditz to say something like that.
Naturally, he did not show anything unusual. He only grumbled inwardly that Raditz at this age really gave off the feeling of a righteous big brother protecting the weak.
The difference between childhood and adulthood could only mean that the Raditz of the future had grown up in an environment that twisted his mind.
After Kakarot closed his eyes and went back to sleep, everyone left the room.
At the dining table.
"It seems that staying by Prince Vegeta's side has helped you grow quite a bit, Raditz," Bardock said from the head of the table, praising his son.
His former worries had long since vanished.
What he had feared most was that his son would be influenced by those so-called elite upper-class warriors and become arrogant and full of himself.
"Hehe, Kakarot is my little brother. Isn't that only natural, Dad?" Raditz answered crisply. It was clear he meant it and was not just putting on an act.
Bardock nodded, and Gine was even happier.
There was a huge gap between the brothers, but fortunately, there would be no situation where the older brother looked down on the younger one.
"You really have exceeded my expectations. I thought you'd become very full of yourself," Talot could not help saying at that moment.
The words reached Raditz's ears and made him unhappy. "Tch! You're acting like some grown-up. Do I have to turn into what you said I would?"
