Decision and Preparation

"I'll head back first, Uncle Bardock."

After talking with Bardock for quite some time and learning everything he wanted to know, Talot finally took his leave.

"Mm. Remember to come over early for dinner tonight."

Bardock watched Talot leave without saying anything more.

As Talot departed, he involuntarily looked toward the room where Kakarot's Incubation Pod was located, his expression growing more solemn.

He had deliberately avoided certain topics earlier, telling Talot only about some insignificant mission details.

But only he knew that a great storm was about to sweep across Planet Vegeta. If the Saiyans took even one wrong step, they might be wiped from the river of history.

"Could there really be such a coincidence in this world? I hope I'm just overthinking it," Bardock murmured.

Although that guy Elec was somewhat unreliable, the intelligence he had provided, coupled with the attack at the Royal Palace yesterday, made Bardock unconsciously connect the dots. He became convinced that Frieza was secretly plotting against the Saiyans.

After thinking it over and over, Bardock finally made a decision.

Whether what the Nacita Organization had said was true or false, he had to prepare for the worst.

If it was true, then he had to make every arrangement before it happened. At the very least, he had to send Kakarot and Talot away.

If it was false, he could simply bring the two children back later. There would be no loss either way, aside from spending some time.

As for Raditz, he would be leaving with the Prince's squad in a few days, so Bardock did not need to worry about him.

"Could it be that King Vegeta has also received some reliable information? Is that why he chose this moment to have Prince Vegeta lead a squad out to conquer planets?" Bardock grew suspicious once more.

He had not considered it before, but now that he thought about it, it seemed as though King Vegeta intended to protect Prince Vegeta from being swept up by the storm.

After leaving Bardock's home, Talot was no longer as indecisive as before.

Once he returned home, he carefully began calculating everything he would need to leave Planet Vegeta.

At this critical juncture, powerless as he was, he could only go with the flow.

In this world, only those who possessed sufficient strength could do what they wanted.

"With my rank, it's impossible for me to have authorization to use a Large Spaceship. But as an Elite Warrior, I should be able to use Bardock's connections to get a Medium-sized Spaceship without much trouble.

"Only then can I take enough supplies with me.

"Most importantly, I need to get Special Medicine and Healing Liquid. It would be best if I could get some raw materials as well. As long as I have materials to study, I'll have an endless supply in the future."

As Talot muttered to himself, his originally scattered thoughts formed into a complete plan.

"Oh, right. Maybe I can get some Saibaman Seeds too. Those things have 1,200 Battle Power, and they obey whoever plants them completely. You could say they're the most loyal subordinates." With a thought, Talot reviewed something he had considered before.

However, not every Elite Warrior could apply for those things. Only the elite among Elite Warriors had permission to use them.

But just because he could not get them did not mean others could not.

Bardock should have a way. Raditz might even be able to get some through his current status.

The Raditz from the original story had indeed been pathetic, but the current Raditz was still doing quite well.

No matter what, with a father whose Battle Power exceeded ten thousand, keeping a low profile was impossible.

And since he was an Elite Warrior himself, his status was naturally even higher.

Talot had even heard some people flattering Raditz.

For example: His father is only a Low-Class Warrior and already has such high Battle Power. Raditz will definitely surpass Bardock in the future.

Surpass Bardock...

Raditz really did have such a dream. If the Saiyans had not faced the crisis of planetary and racial extinction, and he had been allowed to develop slowly, it might have been possible.

Unfortunately, after Planet Vegeta was destroyed in the original story, he had no one looking after him and became completely worthless.

Even twenty years later, his Battle Power was only 1,500, nearly ten times lower than his father's peak.

More than an hour passed in the blink of an eye.

Only after sorting through all the things he needed did Talot begin considering other matters.

Most importantly, he still had to figure out how to take Aunt Gine with him.

Strictly speaking, with his status as an Elite Warrior, he could freely requisition several Low-Class Warriors to assist him during missions.

But the problem was that he was still a child! And this time, he was supposedly going alone to conquer a medium-level planet. Given that level of difficulty, he did not know whether he could apply for any slots.

"If it really comes down to it, I'll have to ask Bardock to put in a good word for me. If Aunt Gine knows I want her to come along and take care of me, she probably won't refuse," he muttered.

The person Aunt Gine worried about most right now should be Kakarot.

But once Kakarot was sent away, she would have nothing tying her down.

"If she comes with me then, she can also go to Earth along the way. Aunt Gine would probably be more than willing," he said to himself.

Unfortunately, Bardock was truly difficult to save.

There was no way he would leave with him! Especially when facing the crisis of Planet Vegeta's destruction, once he learned of it, he would definitely stay behind to resist the powerful enemy.

Even if Talot revealed that he was a Transmigrator and told him everything, it would probably backfire.

He might even end up being killed by Bardock after exposing that identity.

In the end, it was still because he was too weak.

If he were strong enough, stronger than Bardock, he could simply knock him out and take him away by force.

Then he would not need to consider so much. As long as he wanted to leave, at the very least, no one on Planet Vegeta could stop him.

"Reality is just this cruel. Frieza has 530,000 Battle Power. He doesn't even need to transform—one casual Energy Blast would be enough to blow up Planet Vegeta.

"If the Saiyans all knew Frieza's Battle Power, they probably wouldn't dare entertain even the slightest thought of rebellion."

Putting those thoughts aside, Talot took a deep breath and sat cross-legged on his bed.

After breaking through during his training yesterday, then sensing Bardock's ki today, talking with him, and coming to understand quite a few things, he seemed to have gained new insights into Ki Cultivation.

And so, without realizing it, the afternoon passed.

Only after night fell did Talot finish consolidating his ki training.

His strength seemed to have improved somewhat again, especially his control over ki.
