Talot prepared to escape Planet Vegeta with Selari and Gine as Bardock warned of Frieza’s threat and sent Kakarot toward Earth. The family departed before Frieza’s planned attack, while King Vegeta learned of Broly’s extraordinary battle power and Talot began disabling tracking devices aboard the ship.

• Talot trained while preparing to leave Planet Vegeta, and Bardock returned from Planet Cereal with a Battle Power of 10,500 and warned that Talot would soon be expected to conquer planets.
• Bardock explained the Saiyans’ growing danger and arranged for Talot to take Selari on an expedition, lending him Merit Points to prepare their spaceship.
• After Kakarot left for Earth, Bardock warned Talot and Gine that Frieza might move against the Saiyans and ordered them to depart with Selari.
• Beerus appointed Frieza his temporary agent and ordered him to destroy the Saiyan race and Planet Vegeta, so Frieza began planning a single decisive attack.
• Talot, Selari, and Gine left Planet Vegeta before dawn after Bardock brought Gine’s luggage, and Talot set their course for Aoyun Planet.
• A Saiyan using a Signal Jammer reported Bardock’s actions to King Vegeta, who heard that Frieza feared the Super Saiyan legend and wondered whether Broly was the legendary warrior.
• Ten days into the voyage, Talot modified Gine’s Battle Power Detector so it could no longer contact others or be tracked while preserving its other functions.

Talot, Gine, and Selari grew stronger on Aoyun Planet before learning that Planet Vegeta had been destroyed, then traveled to Earth to find Kakarot. The arc ended with Talot introducing the Dragon Balls to Gine and Selari and hinting that Bulma could help locate them.

• Talot revealed his concealed strength and trained Gine and Selari in ki control before the three landed on Aoyun Planet.
• Talot defeated giant beasts guarding the Blood-colored Fruit Tree, and the group ate its fruits to increase their Battle Power.
• Bardock returned to Planet Vegeta, tried to warn the Saiyans, and was killed when Frieza destroyed the planet.
• Talot, Gine, and Selari learned of Planet Vegeta's destruction, and Talot persuaded them to leave Aoyun Planet for Earth to find Kakarot.

Talot built his strength on Earth, gathered the Dragon Balls, and learned that Bardock and Raditz were alive but beyond Shenron’s reach. After settling Gine near Kakarot, Talot and Selari traveled to Namek so Selari could seek the Grand Elder’s help, arriving to meet Lagar.

• Talot met Dr. Brief and asked him to build a gravity-training room, then visited Korin and Kami Piccolo while seeking Senzu Beans and help finding the Dragon Balls.
• Dr. Brief developed a Gravity Device, and Talot trained under increasingly intense gravity as Gine and Selari gradually grew stronger alongside him.
• Bulma completed the Dragon Ball Radar, and Talot collected the seven Dragon Balls with help from Son Gohan, Master Roshi, and Ox-King.
• Talot asked Shenron about Bardock and Raditz, learned both had survived, and wished for the ability to survive in space when Shenron could not bring either to Earth.
• Talot told Gine that Kakarot had been adopted by Son Gohan, and Gine chose to live near Kakarot and protect him without disrupting his life.
• Talot trained until his Battle Power reached 12,000, then planned to take Selari to Namek so she could gain strength from the Grand Elder, while Gine stayed on Earth.
• Brief and Bulma completed and tested a spaceship, and Talot and Selari departed Earth and trained during their weeklong journey to Namek.
• Talot and Selari landed on Namek, where the Grand Elder sent Lagar to meet them, and Talot’s detector measured Lagar’s Battle Power at 55,000.

Talot reunited with Raditz and returned to Earth before training with North Kai alongside Raditz and Selari. After confronting Cooler and surviving his Supernova, Talot reached Super Saiyan during a spar with Raditz and Selari.

• Talot trained on Namek and Yardrat, then rescued Jaco and Tights on Sart Planet before recruiting Tights to travel with him.
• Talot and Selari found Raditz among Vegeta and Nappa’s Saiyan squad, defeated Vegeta, and convinced Raditz to leave with them as Frieza sent the Ginyu Force after the group.
• After years of training, Talot entered Frieza’s trap and survived the destruction of Death Planet, then returned to Earth with Raditz, Selari, and Tights and reunited Raditz with Gine and Kakarot.
• Talot mastered the Great Ape’s power in human form, visited North Kai Planet, and learned Kaio-ken and the Spirit Bomb before bringing Raditz and Selari there to train.
• After three years, Talot, Raditz, and Selari confronted Cooler and his men, but Talot escaped Cooler’s Supernova and healed on North Kai Planet.
• Bulma used Shenron to learn that Talot, Raditz, and Selari were training with North Kai, while Son Goku and Yamcha began training under Master Roshi.
• Raditz and Selari pushed Talot to his limits with Kaio-ken x20, and Talot transformed into a Super Saiyan as North Kai, Gregory, Bubbles, and King Yemma watched in shock.
