Background / History
Emperor Lord first rose in the Mythological Era after his parents were killed by the Kunlun Immortal Clan. He inherited the legacy of the Tribulation Transcendence Heavenly Lord, survived pursuit by the Kunlun Immortal Clan, proved the Dao as a Heavenly Lord, and later pacified the Kunlun Restricted Area in revenge 536.
Known then as Primordial Heavenly Lord, he severed his former Dao and Dharma, transformed into a new life nurtured by heaven and earth, and proved the Dao anew as Emperor Lord. This made him the first known person to prove the Dao twice 18 42. His renewed life and cultivation were connected to the methods later associated with Saintly Spirit transformation and the Mortal World Immortal path 19.
He founded the Mythological Heavenly Court, refined the Nine Revolutions Immortal Pill to prolong the lives of Forbidden Zone Supremes, and gathered Heavenly Lords beneath the Heavenly Court's banner 8. His authority was remembered through the declaration: “Heaven, Earth, Human, God, and Ghost all worship the Emperor Lord” 129.
Emperor Lord sought to ascend the entire Heavenly Court to the Immortal Domain. Before the attempt, he sealed his confidant Chuan Ying away, apparently foreseeing danger. The ascension failed after Immortal Domain cultivators obstructed the Heavenly Court's passage; Emperor Lord was also ambushed by the Undying Heavenly Emperor and others, then faked his death 54 61 169.
During his hidden years, he laid Emperor Runes throughout the Human World Universe and planned to refine the Human World and Strange World into a cauldron for forging a supreme Immortal Artifact 18. Darkness Erosion gradually affected him, leaving him trapped between himself and a dark counterpart 62 157.
He later returned alongside the Human Emperor, having completed the Mortal World Immortal path. He reunited with Numinous Treasure Heavenly Lord and Daoist Heavenly Lord, and their past protection of one another was acknowledged 160.
After the Human Emperor's departure, Emperor Lord appeared to defect to the Darkness, becoming the Heavenly Devil and ruler of the Foreign Realm and Fallen Immortal Domain. In truth, he used this position to temper Human World cultivators, investigate the Weird Race, and operate as an undercover agent protected by the Human Emperor's Azure Light 285 299 300 306.
His undercover identity was ultimately exposed to the Heavens. After becoming an Immortal Emperor and infiltrating the Weird Plateau, he betrayed the Weird Progenitors at a decisive moment, burned away his weird Dao Fruit and Primitive Substance, and attained Sacrificial Dao through his own path 530 536 551.

Emperor Lord is intensely ambitious, proud, and unwilling to accept an incomplete path. Even when the Darkness offered a means to become a Quasi Immortal Emperor, he rejected reliance on that shortcut because he wanted to become a “true Emperor” rather than remain trapped at a lesser stage 285.
His confidence is overwhelming and can appear openly arrogant. He regards many powerful beings as whetstones, dismisses ordinary Immortal Kings as beneath his concern, and carries the natural authority that once enabled him to establish the Heavenly Court 285 326 387.
Beneath this domineering exterior, he is calculating and patient. He maintained an exceptionally convincing undercover identity, accepted being treated as an enemy by old allies, and arranged conflict to temper the Human World's younger generation 300 306.
