Ancient era and decline

Ancient humanity was a major cosmic civilization whose branches spread across multiple starfields. As humanity expanded through the Ancient Land, Boundary Breaking Mountain separated its populations into distinct territories and branches, each eventually developing its own ruler and protector. 219 406

At its height, humanity possessed advanced cultivation systems, Spirit Arts, Rune Art, Time Dragon Bones, and powerful military forces such as the Seven Armies. Its later civilization was devastated by the Shrieking Dragon calamity, leaving scattered ruins, sealed relics, and remnant souls such as Dongfang Ji. 257

Humanity's ancient bloodline was considered weak for the Path of Evolution. Rather than depend on bloodline advancement, ancient humans developed cultivation techniques and Spirit Arts as their primary path to power. 375

After the collapse, humanity fell from a Level Four civilization to a Level One civilization in the barren frontier of the universe. Its cultivation environment became so poor that Star Envoys could no longer emerge, while Innate Practitioners were once revered as godlike figures. 257

Survivors gradually reconstructed their cultivation system by excavating and deciphering ancient ruins. Tailless Bird Star System

Humanity defeated the Lion-Eagle Alien Race during the final crisis of the Tailless Bird Star System. After Wang Yu's intervention, the Lion-Eagles ceased to be a meaningful threat, and humanity became the system's final ruler shortly before the system's expected extinction. 213

The Human Emperor and other leaders used the remaining time to occupy Hidden Stars, develop interstellar travel, and seek a route out of the dying system. 216

Migration and reunification

An initial group of human experts traveled through space aboard the Time Dragon Bone, carrying cultivators, Rune Masters, physicians, alchemists, and other specialists needed to establish a new civilization. 218

The pioneers settled in the Lightless Greater Star System's Avicin Realm, where they began constructing an Underground City due to the barren surface and danger from Rotten Ones. Humanity later returned to Blue Star and transported approximately 6.5 billion people through the Time Dragon Bone. Their reunification ended the Blue Star Calendar and began the Human New Era. 286 287
