Liang Qu began as a thin, dark, short youth whose chief distinguishing quality was his politeness. Hu Qi’s assessment revealed an exceptional Root Bone suited to Ape Fist and archery; Liang Qu rapidly learned Ape Fist and Tiger Fist forms while studying at the Martial Arts School with Li LiBo. 16 173

He became Yang Dongxiong’s Personal Disciple, a status that elevated his position in Yi Xing and allowed him to aid both the Chen family and his wider village.
