On an open stretch of land at Canalave Pokémon Academy stood a massive airship, its lower half built like a ship.

Above it was a large hot-air-balloon-like aircraft that also served as the vessel's main cabin.

At the very top were wings representing flight, which could effectively change direction and keep the ship flying steadily.

Friede smiled and rubbed his nose, saying with some pride, "This was originally Mr. Lando's Asagi. Through our joint efforts, he and I transformed it into what it is now. We call it the Brave Asagi!"

Jing He nodded and lightly ran his fingers along the ship's railing. It looked almost exactly like the Rising Volt Tacklers' vessel from Pokémon Horizons as he remembered it.

Not only could it fly, but as a ship, it could also sail across the sea and lakes.

It could be considered an air-sea vessel.

If there was any difference, it was probably the Canalave Pokémon Academy emblem on its hull.

Airships were not exactly uncommon in the Pokémon World.

Team Plasma's enormous Plasma Frigate was the most outrageous one. Team Rocket also had plenty of flying machines, including an aircraft seized from that famous Pokémon Collector, one that resembled an Aerial Fortress.

They might not have been rare, but they were certainly not cheap to build.

As a Pokémon Doctor who also worked for Yue Meng Company, even if Friede poured all the money he earned into it, it would not have been enough. He had needed subsidies from Canalave Pokémon Academy to complete the modifications.

Modifications, not construction.

And the reason they had been able to finish them was thanks to Mr. Lando donating the Asagi.

"Have you test-flown it?" Jing He asked, feeling a little envious.
