Troll's Lair
The next morning, after having breakfast in the Great Hall, Albert and the other three disappeared.
Although the second-year students have already finished their exams, the students in other grades are still preparing for their exams, and no one pays any attention to them.
After the four men used the Marauder's Map to confirm that Hagrid was assisting the professor Care of Magical Creatures, they used the Disillusionment Charm to sneak around the Quidditch Pitch and into the Forbidden Forest.
Flying above the Forbidden Forest Forbidden Forest far safer than flying directly through it.
"Alright, don't make a fuss, we'll be watching you!" Fred, looking at the somewhat nervous Lee Jordan. Lee Jordan's Flight Technique were really mediocre; perhaps because he hadn't flown much, he didn't seem very confident.
"How about we get a new broom?" Lee Jordan complained stubbornly. "Otherwise, just shut up."
"Are we on the right track?" Fred changed the subject, pretending not to hear what the other person was saying.
"It should be fine!"
Every few minutes, Albert would stop to check the pointer on the Treasure Map and verify their flight path. Fred and George, who had once walked for hours in the Forbidden Forest, had now covered a great distance in less than ten minutes.
"I have a question. Will we get lost later? I mean, will we not be able to figure out the exact location of Hogwarts?" Lee Jordan expressed his concern.
The Forbidden Forest is so vast that even flying over it, one might lose their way and end up somewhere else, which would be terrible if they got lost.
"Don't worry, I buried something in the Forbidden Forest outside the school that can be used as a location coordinate. I will use Tracking Magic to locate Hogwarts through the object."
Hogwarts Castle couldn't be located, but the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade could. Besides, if that didn't work, he could simply Apparition. Albert wasn't worried about getting lost at all.
"That's good!" Lee Jordan breathed a sigh of relief.
"I knew Albert couldn't have been unprepared!" Fred said confidently. "Having a reliable teammate really makes a difference."
As he spoke, he glanced at George. If George had been reliable last time, he wouldn't have ended up like that.
"Don't think I don't know what you're thinking," George snorted in dissatisfaction.
"Alright, stop bickering. We're going down now. The Treasure Map should point to a location nearby. Be careful, don't fall to the ground all at once." Albert began to lead the descent.
"I wonder what kind of treasure it might be."
"Don't overthink it; it's more likely a scam," Albert warned the three. "The greater the hope, the greater the disappointment!"
"I think you should say it's true," Fred muttered, somewhat worried that Albert's loose tongue might come true.
This was already deep in the Forbidden Forest. The area below was very dark. The group hovered on a large tree, observing their surroundings.
Albert tossed several orbs of light downwards; it has to be said that the Advanced Lumos Charm was very convenient, immediately illuminating a large area nearby.
"Don't you think this might attract some dangerous creatures?" Lee Jordan said with some concern.
"I just wanted to see if there were any dangerous creatures below." Albert didn't seem to care. They observed from above for five minutes and only landed on the ground after confirming that there was no danger below.
Upon landing, Albert immediately chanted a spell to drive away any wild animals that might be nearby.
"You're quite vigilant." Fred handed the broom to Albert, took the Treasure Map, and began searching for the location of the Secret Treasure.
After Albert stored the Flying Broom into his Undetectable Extension Charm bag, Fred led the way with the Treasure Map, while Albert and the other three remained vigilant to avoid being attacked. Their magical combat training was not for nothing; they all knew that they needed to stay alert once they entered the Forbidden Forest.
"The direction the map points to is just ahead," Fred said, pointing ahead.
"Can you smell anything?" George muttered.
The surroundings smelled terrible, which was clearly not a good sign.
"It's probably Forest Troll." Albert raised his hand, signaling them to stop and be wary of their surroundings. "If it is one of those things, their weak point is the back of their head."
"It stinks, I hate those guys," Lee Jordan muttered, clearly a little too tense.
"If we encounter Troll, slow them down first, and I'll handle them," Albert added, knowing he had to instill confidence in them.
The four continued forward in formation. They did not encounter Troll, but they found a place that resembled Troll's lair. Albert was not really sure whether Troll lived in caves, but he really did not want to go in or even get close to it because it was too smelly, like being thrown into a cesspool, which made him nauseous.
This is practically a biological weapon! "Ugh, are those stinky eggs made from the Troll ' body odor?"
The four decided to get away from there first to avoid being overwhelmed by the stench.
"Ugh, this is absolutely a terrible joke. Ugh~ I feel like I'm about to throw up my breakfast."
Fred, George, and Lee Jordan were all leaning against the tree trunk, retching.
Albert wasn't doing well either. He forced himself to gag a few times to suppress the nausea and discomfort.
"Do you want to go inside?" he suddenly asked.
"This joke isn't funny at all," Fred muttered. "I feel like we might suffocate in there."
"The Bubblehead Charm".
Albert opened the Skill Panel, looked for the Bubblehead Charm skill, and upgraded it directly from level one to level two.
"I haven't tried this spell much." Albert put a shield over himself.
"What is this?" George asked, pointing to the huge bubble around Albert's head.
"It looks really funny."
At this moment, Albert's facial features appeared elongated and widened, making him look quite comical.
"The Bubblehead Charm can block out the stench and provide us with breathing space, and it can last for about half an hour." Albert began to cast the Bubblehead Charm on the other three people. Albert was not very skilled at using this spell.
"Half an hour is enough, let's hurry up!" After hesitating for a while, Fred and the other two decided to go and investigate.
Regardless of the circumstances, this incident is something that others can brag about.
"If only you had a camera," Lee Jordan muttered. The four headed toward the lair, Albert threw a ball of light inside. It had to be said, it was a truly horrifying sight. Inside were not only the Troll ' garbage but also animal skeletons, which seemed to indicate that Troll lived there.
"Maybe this is a really bad decision," George muttered.
"Who knows? Prepare for battle." Albert had already heard the roars of the Troll, and there might be more than one.
