It Made Too Much Sense

Madam Pomfrey never asked many questions, but when Klaun was carried horizontally into the Medical Room, the head nurse frowned deeply.

There was nothing that could be done; this unfortunate fellow had one leg bitten by Fluffy, leaving it bloody and mangled, a sight that was hardly pleasant to behold.

"Get out of the way, all of you."

Madam Pomfrey chased everyone gathered around the hospital bed out of the School Hospital. She used a smoking, foul-smelling purple liquid to clean the wound on Klaun's thigh, then poked the wound with her wand. However, the wound showed no signs of healing.

The head nurse looked very unhappy.

"It was the Three-Headed Dog from Greece that bit Klaun!" Albert, who had been standing by and watching Madam Pomfrey do all this, whispered to the head nurse, "The Three-Headed Dog's teeth may be poisonous."

Yes, Albert was right. The Three-Headed Dog's teeth were poisonous, which was the main reason why Klaun's leg wound wouldn't heal.

"Three-Headed Dog?"

Madam Pomfrey turned to look at Albert as he walked toward the door, then re-examined the wound on Klaun's leg. She didn't see any reason for Albert to lie, and her face immediately darkened.

Klaun's wound was indeed caused by a bite from something. Although she had never treated a wizard bitten by Three-Headed Dog, she could not rule out the possibility that the venom in the Three-Headed Dog's teeth could prevent the wound from healing.

This condition is very similar to Werewolf bite.

If that's the case, then it's very troublesome.

Madam Pomfrey left in a hurry and soon brought back a very smelly ointment, which she applied to Klaun's wound and bandaged it.

After Albert left the School Hospital, he found everyone huddled together, quietly discussing what had just happened.

Everyone already knows that the Three-Headed Dog is standing on a Trapdoor, obviously guarding something.

As for what it was guarding, no one knew; everyone was speculating whether Dumbledore had left some extremely valuable item at the school.

After all, if you want to hide something, Hogwarts School is probably the safest place besides Gringotts.

Before they could finish walking down the corridor Medical Room, they saw an enraged Professor McGonagall walking toward them.

Then, everyone was taken to Professor McGonagall's office.

"Speak! What exactly happened?" Professor McGonagall's voice was filled with icy anger as she swept her gaze across everyone present.

"Mr. Anderson, you go first."

"Actually, the thing is..."

Albert readily explained that he was just passing by when he met Truman at the entrance of the corridor. He learned that several upperclassmen had entered the Forbidden Corridor and hadn't come out for a long time, so he went in with Truman to see if they were in danger and needed help.

Fred and the others all wore the same expression, especially since they were the ones who ultimately rescued the previous Prefect, Klaun, from the monster's mouth.

"Yes, Professor McGonagall, the situation is just as Albert said."

Truman readily picked up the thread, essentially shifting the blame to the upperclassmen, asking why the three of them had entered the Forbidden Corridor first.

If you don't take the blame, who will?

"Why didn't you heed the warnings!" Professor McGonagall's voice was filled with barely concealed anger. "Didn't you hear what Dumbledore said at the opening banquet?"

"Mr. Prewett paid the price for this, and almost lost his life."

Finally, Professor McGonagall reprimanded everyone, and each of the three houses had ten points deducted for trespassing into the restricted area of the fourth-floor corridor.

Of course, Albert and his companions each received an extra five points for handling the situation calmly and saving Klaun.

Professor McGonagall then ordered everyone to stay away from the Forbidden Corridor.

Everyone readily agreed, and whether they would go again in the future was a matter for later.

To be honest, Albert was a little disappointed that he didn't get another Special Contribution Award. Although he knew that he was unlikely to get such an award again, he couldn't help but complain that Mr. Prewett's life was really worthless.

As for that insignificant score, he never cared about it.

"What would Dumbledore have hidden in Hogwarts Castle? And where did they find such a big dog?"

After leaving Professor McGonagall's office, Fred talked about it with a few friends, feeling something called the blood of adventure burning within him.

"That big dog is not easy to deal with; the Stunning Spell doesn't work on it." Albert abruptly poured cold water on the others' hopes.

"I think we can take it down, well, I mean you definitely have a way to take it down!" Lee Jordan looked at Albert with the same expectant expression.

Not only Lee Jordan, but Fred and George also looked at him expectantly, as if they wanted to get a positive answer from Albert.

"Naive, so incredibly naive," Albert said softly. "If Dumbledore had that big guy guarding his treasures, do you think it would only be that one?"

"You mean..."

"I admit that Three-Headed Dog is indeed very dangerous, but for a powerful wizard, defeating it, stalling it, and finding an opportunity to break into the Trapdoor it guards is not too difficult."

"Like you!"

"For example, me!" Albert didn't deny it. He felt that with his abilities, he could still subdue Fluffy without using music.

"But so what?"

The three remained silent, waiting for Albert's next analysis. Some things were more authoritative when said by Albert; he was sometimes really accurate in his predictions.

"Why did Dumbledore suddenly decide to keep that precious treasure at the school? Nothing like this happened last year," Albert asked his first question.

"Is it safer at school?" Fred asked without hesitation.

"You think someone has their eye on that treasure?" George followed suit.

"What are you talking about?" Lee Jordan was still completely bewildered.

"Yes, that's very likely," Albert nodded. "Do you remember what happened at Gringotts this summer?"

"You mean the things in the school, the things in Gringotts?" Fred asked in surprise.

"That's very possible," Albert said.

"But it's safe at school," Lee Jordan said.

"Of course I know that, but Gringotts is very safe, yet Dark wizard still break into Gringotts to steal, and haven't been caught by the Goblin. What if a Dark wizard broke into Hogwarts to steal?" Albert said. "Although the chances are small, it's still possible if these two things are connected."

Albert looked around to make sure no one was eavesdropping before whispering, "In any case, this cannot deny that Dumbledore left something precious in the school and brought in a dangerous Three-Headed Dog to guard it."

"Why do you think these things are connected?" Lee Jordan wanted to say that it was all Albert's own speculation, but in the end he chose to keep quiet.

"There are coincidences in the world, but not that many," Albert said meaningfully.

None of the three understood, so they could only continue listening to Albert's analysis.

"What do you consider to be a precious treasure to Dumbledore?" Albert asked his second question.

"Galleon, a precious and valuable magical item?" Albert shook his head. "No, no, none of that. Dumbledore is actually very rich. After all, he is the greatest wizard in Britain and has lived for a century. It's impossible for him to be poor. So Galleon, or so-called precious and valuable items, are not treasures to him. I dare say Dumbledore certainly doesn't care about those things."

"So what do you think is hidden in the school?"

"I don't know," Albert shook his head. "But one thing is certain: that treasure is definitely very precious."

The three listened to Albert's analysis and agreed that he made a lot of sense.

"So, do you really think that such a precious item would only be guarded by a three-headed dumb dog in Hogwarts Castle?"

"You mean there are other protective measures?" The three immediately understood what Albert meant.

"The professors at the school may know about this, but they may not know what it is. Perhaps Dumbledore will tell them that he needs to keep a precious treasure at the school and ask the professors to use their magic to protect it," Albert continued, "For example, that big dog."

"You mean that big dog might be Kettleburn's guard dog from the Care of Magical Creatures?"

"Yes, that's possible." Albert.

"You're really amazing. You deduced so much information so easily." Fred and George were very envious of Albert's brain.

Even Lee Jordan had to admit that he wouldn't have understood it at all if Albert hadn't analyzed it point by point.

Keep in mind, how much time has passed since they first encountered that big dog! The group went up to the Third Floor via the Moving Staircase. As Albert lifted the tapestry, preparing to take their usual shortcut to the Gryffindor Tower, they discovered a pair of students embracing and kissing passionately right in front of them.

Albert pretended he hadn't seen anything and quietly backed away to leave, but bumped into Fred behind him.

The latter watched this scene with great interest, even trying hard not to laugh out loud.

All right!

The protagonist is Oliver Wood, the Quidditch captain of Gryffindor. His date is an upperclassman they don't know, and she is probably not a student of Gryffindor.

Albert gestured to the three of them, signaling them to leave quietly.

The three of them snapped out of their daze, smiled, and quietly left the secret passage with Albert so as not to disturb their date.

"I never would have imagined this!"

As soon as Albert put down the tapestry, Fred whispered, and judging from his pursed lips and happy expression, he was trying hard not to laugh out loud.

"Alright, stop laughing at him," Albert said softly, pursing his lips.

"Absolutely not," George replied immediately, chuckling to himself.

"That's absolutely brilliant!" Lee Jordan was grinning from ear to ear.

After walking a short distance, the three of them finally burst into laughter, leaving passersby feeling somewhat bewildered.

Albert turned his head away, pretending he didn't know the three of them.

No laughing or making noise in the hallway!

An annoyed voice came from around the corner. It was Filch, who was in a terrible mood. No wonder, he had spent a lot of time cleaning the frog brains off the wall.

"Stop laughing?" Albert glanced at Filch, nudged the three men by the shoulders, and gestured for them to leave quickly to avoid trouble from Filch.

"Who is Wood's girlfriend? Do you know her?"

Wood's new girlfriend did indeed greatly divert the group's attention, and they couldn't steer the conversation back to the topic until they returned to the Common Room.

As soon as Albert opened the dormitory door, he saw Tom sunbathing on the balcony. Tom probably heard footsteps, turned his head, twitched his ears, and continued sunbathing.

"You think there's something under the Trapdoor... something..." George brought the conversation back on track after closing the door.

"Are there any other measures to protect that precious item?" Albert finished George's sentence.

Yes, that's exactly what I meant.

"Of course there are, and there might be more than one." Albert suddenly looked the three of them up and down and asked, "Are you planning to steal something from Dumbledore?"

"We were just curious," Fred muttered.

"Of course we wouldn't steal anything from Dumbledore." Lee Jordan nodded, seemingly to emphasize his point.

"Even if you wanted to steal it, you probably wouldn't be able to take it," Albert said with a smile. "Do you think Dumbledore would just leave the treasure there, set up some security measures, and then forget about it? I dare say, even if you were lucky enough to take the treasure the Headmaster hid under the Trapdoor, he wouldn't wait until the next day to call you in for tea."

Perhaps, in the eyes of Dumbledore and the other professors, it would be difficult for any strange fellows to infiltrate Hogwarts School, but they would still be on guard.

"I think this could be another great adventure, and I would definitely regret it for the rest of my life if I missed it."

"Yeah yeah!"

The three hoped that Albert could go on the adventure with them. As for the punishment of being caught, it would only be losing some points and being put in solitary confinement, which they really didn't care about. Besides, with Albert's help, the probability of them being caught by the school's professors was not high.

After all, his roommate was very reliable.

The three had no idea that their thoughts were exactly what Albert wanted to hear.

In fact, when Albert entered the Fourth Floor Forbidden Area, a series of tasks had already been triggered on the Task Panel.

The "Brave Game" quest involves Albert navigating a series of challenges set by the Hogwarts professors to find the hidden treasure. The rewards are very generous: 15,000 experience points, 2 skill points, +15 favorability with each of the three main characters, plus Dumbledore's favorability, and an unknown skill.
