Wholesale Prophecies
The good weather in September didn't last long. Half a month after arriving at Hogwarts, it finally started raining again, and it's been raining since this morning and hasn't stopped yet.
However, for Albert, who was holed up in the castle, the rain didn't bother him much, since he wouldn't get wet anyway.
At this moment, Albert is sitting comfortably by the window, listening to the rain outside, drinking freshly brewed milk tea, and writing a letter to an old friend.
Tom lay down beside him, his eyes fixed on the person writing the letter, his gaze occasionally drifting to the cup of milk tea. His paws were itching, but he ultimately didn't do anything about it.
Ever since he foolishly stuck his paw into the cup and was caught by Albert and had his fish dried for several days, Tom has never touched a teacup again.
Albert glanced at his cat, then looked back at the letter. It was addressed to Adolf Fournier, France contact with Albert had faded.
A while ago, Albert acquired the technology to manufacture Two-Way Mirror and leveled up his Panel Skill. Based on his understanding of the theory of Two-Way Mirror using his Panel Skill, he revealed some of the technology to Mr. Adolf Fournier.
All right!
In fact, he used facts and technical knowledge to slap the France several times, making Mr. Fournier shamelessly and proactively contact Albert again.
Of course, in order to obtain the technology to restore the Two-Way Mirror, Mr. Fournier was willing to risk his reputation. He was incredibly enthusiastic, Albert every few days. It was fortunate that the owl was not the same one, otherwise he would have been exhausted halfway there.
After all, France and Britain are still quite far apart.
Neither of them had good intentions.
Albert's target was the technology in the hands of the France. Adolf Fournier was quite skilled in alchemy and had invented many good things, such as the Remembrall.
The Remembrall is a magical glass ball that seems to be filled with white smoke, somewhat similar to a Divination crystal ball. If it turns red when you hold it in your hand, it means you've forgotten something.
Of course, to put it bluntly, the Remembrall is just a magical toy that can only last for about six months. Albert used a similar method to invent an intrusion alarm for himself.
Well, it's basically using Intruder Charm on an object. When you put it in your pocket, it will start to get hot if a wizard gets close.
However, the alarm has a rather bad problem: it will immediately sound if there is any wizard other than the user nearby.
It was a half-useless item, but a skill called "Alarm" did appear on the panel. He thought this skill should be very useful, but the problem was that he would need to spend experience to Skill Points up, and the wizard also needed to have a good grasp of Intruder Charm when crafting it.
In the letters, Albert and Mr. Adolf Fournier discussed the idea of Magic Lamp.
This task has been sitting on the panel for quite some time. He wants to complete it, and he needs at least a direction. As an expert in this field, Mr. Adolf Fournier might be able to help him.
As for the Two-Way Mirror technology, Albert didn't mind giving it to the other party. He didn't care at all whether Mr. Adolf Fournier could replicate Brell Bosted's Two-Way Mirror, since as long as the skill level was increased, better technology could be developed.
Let's squeeze every last drop of value out of Mr. Adolf Fournier first.
Of course, this can be considered a mutually beneficial arrangement to some extent.
Suddenly a commotion arose nearby. Tom turned his head and saw two girls whispering and giggling to each other.
"You go!"
"No, you go!"
"Okay, I'll go!"
A little girl mustered up her courage and walked over. She had brown eyes and long blonde hair.
"Is there something you need?"
After finishing his milk tea, Albert stuffed the letter into the envelope and turned to look at the two little girls who were shoving each other.
"They said you can Divination?" one of the girls said.
"Divination?" Albert put down his teacup and said gently, "I did learn a little about Divination in my Divination class. However, you can't believe the rumors in school."
"Could you..."
"Could I do Divination for you?" Albert finished the sentence for them.
The two little girls nodded like chicks pecking at rice.
"Knowing it's a scam, why do you still Divination?" Albert asked with a smile.
Neither of them answered, so Albert didn't pursue the topic any further. After thinking for a moment, he said, "This is a one-time exception. Who wants to start?"
"Me, me!"
"What's your name?" Albert asked to confirm.
"Lavender Brown," the girl said nervously.
"Alright, Miss Brown Lavender Brown, remember your Prophecy." Albert was silent for a long time before speaking in a muffled voice, "You will have your own romantic story. Whether you pursue it is up to you, and whether it lasts is up to him."
"Does a romantic story refer to a romantic relationship?" Lavender Brown asked curiously.
Albert smiled but didn't answer. He looked at another little girl and asked, "And you? Tell me your name."
"Parvati Pettier".
"Remember your Prophecy, Miss Patil Parvati Petit," Albert paused for a long time before vaguely saying, "At the ball, you will dance with your Champion."
"Could I have one too..." the round-faced boy next to him asked, blushing.
"What's your name?" Albert asked.
"Neville Longbottom," the boy said.
"You are a qualified Gryffindor. Courage is not what you see on the surface. You have a connection with plants, and you will have a place in the school," Albert said after recalling Neville's information.
He suddenly realized that he also had the potential to be Divination.
That's how it is.
Someone asked, puzzled.
"That's it. Don't bother me with anything else, whether it's accurate or not," Albert said calmly, glancing at the person who spoke.
The crowd dispersed in disappointment; no matter how you looked at it, Albert seemed to be just going through the motions with the three freshmen.
"What, you want some too?" Albert asked Hermione beside him.
The latter hesitated for a long time before finally nodding.
Actually, Hermione didn't really believe in such things; it seemed like Albert was just fooling them. But she'd also heard that Albert's predictions were sometimes very accurate. After all, both of his Prophecy about Harry had come true, regardless of whether they were actually Prophecy or not.
"You will no longer be alone Before Winter Comes, of course, it depends on your decision," Albert said.
Hermione was stunned, because whether or not she could find friends truly depended on her own decision.
"Sorry to interrupt your attempt to woo the little girl." Fred and George, both soaking wet, walked over.
"Is Quidditch training over?" Albert asked, unconcerned with the teasing, looking at the two who were soaked to the bone.
"It's over, that was tough."
"Harry did a fantastic job, and our names will be engraved on this year's Quidditch Cup."
Albert shrugged nonchalantly and said softly, "There will be twists and turns."
"Shut up."
"Asshole."
Both of them wished they could take off their socks and stuff them into Albert's mouth.
"Don't be nervous, I'm just talking about the twists and turns."
Albert waved his wand, and white steam rose from the Weasley Twins, filling the Common Room. He waved his wand again, creating a breeze that sent all the steam out of the Common Room.
"Is it really that accurate?" Hermione muttered under her breath, looking at the Weasley Twins who seemed tense and wishing they could shut Albert up.
