The Missing Savior
Lee Jordan knew nothing about Professor Gilderoy Lockhart; he learned of his appointment as Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts Gilderoy a book Book Signing at Flourish and Blotts Lockhart.
"Do you think Lockhart is really as great as he's described in the books?"
Lee Jordan opened the box and shared Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans with Albert. "To be honest, I have serious doubts about whether Lockhart is a qualified Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor."
"I have never met Gilderoy Lockhart in person and do not know him well, so I cannot make any rash comments."
"You should have come shopping with us at Diagon Alley." Lee Jordan said with a hint of regret, "That day, Mr. Weasley and Malfoy got into a fight in the bookstore."
"What was the reason for the fight?"
"I don't know," Lee Jordan shook his head. "Their relationship has always been bad, probably for some reason. I heard from my dad that Mr. Weasley has raided and confiscated several ancient wizarding families."
"Oh," Albert replied casually.
That said, this matter is somewhat related to him; Mr. Weasley's power was delegated to him by Bard and his group.
"Actually, we'll know whether Lockhart is a qualified Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor after we take his classes," Albert said with a smile, changing the subject. "However, his books are indeed very well written. If you enjoy reading, buying those books wouldn't be a bad deal."
As the two talked, time passed little by little, and the people outside the carriage changed one after another. I really don't know where all these curious kids came from.
Lee Jordan was quite happy to be Albert's shield. He even offered Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans to the people outside, laughing and boasting that he could sell Albert's photos if they wanted, and also promoting the Wizard Card Club.
Sure enough, it successfully piqued the curiosity and attention of many girls.
However, to their surprise, Fred and George never showed up.
"They're going to be late." Albert glanced at his pocket watch. "It's already 10:50."
"What if we don't make it onto the train on time?" Lee Jordan kept staring out the train window at the platform, looking for the Weasley family.
"Not boarding shouldn't be a big problem. We'll probably have to go directly to Hogsmeade, then to Hogwarts, it'll just be a bit more complicated," Albert said after thinking for a moment. "You don't think that missing the train means you don't have to go to school, do you?!"
Judging from the expression on Lee Jordan's face, that might actually be what he was thinking.
"Don't be silly. Taking the train to school is just a Ministry of Magic regulation. If there are special circumstances, there are other ways to handle it." Albert gave him a look that said, "I've really lost to you."
"They're here."
Lee Jordan pointed to the hurried figures outside the window and said to Albert, "It's really something. I don't understand why they like to arrive at the station right on time."
"Don't worry, there's still time. Here, take this. I don't really like this flavor."
Albert secretly slipped a red Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans into Lee Jordan's hand.
"Thanks."
Lee Jordan muttered something, and after he ate it, a pungent chili flavor spread in his mouth, almost making him vomit.
"Red Chili Flavor, you were definitely up to no good." Lee Jordan threw the Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans out the car window.
"Don't be angry, I'll treat you to this."
Albert took a bottle of Coca-Cola from his suitcase and handed it to Lee Jordan, asking with a smile, "Have you ever drunk Muggle drinks?"
"Coca-Cola?" Lee Jordan looked at Albert suspiciously, opened the bottle, took a sip, blinked, and commented, "The taste is a bit strange. I really don't know why Muggle would like this stuff."
"You just don't like the taste yet. Take a few more sips and you'll like it," Albert explained with a smile. "To be popular all over the world and loved by over a billion people, Coca-Cola must have its charm."
As they were talking, there was another knock on the carriage door, and Fred and George walked in, followed by their sister Ginny.
"We need to take Ginny to Ron first," Fred said to Albert and Lee Jordan as he stuffed their luggage into the carriage.
At that moment, the train suddenly jolted and began to move forward.
"You almost missed the train." Lee Jordan took another sip of Coke. Admittedly, once you get used to it, it actually tastes pretty good.
"See you in a bit." With that, George casually closed the cubicle door.
When Fred and George returned, their brows furrowed slightly.
"What's wrong?"
"We didn't find Harry and Ron," Fred said.
"And what about your sister?" Albert asked.
"With Hermione Granger," George said.
"This year's Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor is Lockhart," Lee Jordan suddenly said. "It seems quite a few people admire him. I wonder what kind of person he is."
Fred and George had just sat down to talk about Lockhart when they saw Hermione and Percy appear outside the carriage.
"What's wrong?" They all noticed that Percy's expression was unusually gloomy.
"Harry and Ron are missing!" Hermione exclaimed. "I thought they were in another carriage, but I looked around and couldn't find them."
"They probably didn't make it onto the train in time!" Albert said casually.
"Wow!"
Fred and George both looked at Albert.
"What's wrong?" Percy was startled by their overreaction.
"I think Albert was probably right," Fred said.
"Didn't get on the train?" Percy frowned.
"Don't worry," Albert said casually, "If Mr. Weasley finds out they've missed the train, he'll take them directly to Hogsmeade and from there to school. It's much faster than us taking the train."
"How could they miss the train?" Hermione simply couldn't understand it.
"Perhaps something unexpected happened," Albert said without hesitation.
"What accident?" Hermione asked warily, remembering Albert's warning.
How would I know?
After the two left, Albert suddenly thought of something and looked at the three of them, asking, "What would you do if you found yourself missing your train?"
"How do we do it?"
The three of them paused for a moment, then considered it briefly.
"Nothing needs to be done," Lee Jordan said first. "After all, parents send their children to school in case this happens."
"What if you find that your family isn't around?" Albert continued. "Or, what if your family members are just ordinary people?"
"Get someone to help!" Fred said without hesitation.
"Yes, find the security guard at the platform," George added.
At this moment, all three of them looked at Albert.
"Find the station guards. If that doesn't work, have an owl send a letter to Professor McGonagall. The school will definitely send someone to pick her up." Albert noticed the three men's gazes. "What do you think they will do?"
"Ron is an idiot!"
Fred and George said in unison, "However, it will probably be the kind of situation Lee Jordan described."
Albert thought about it carefully and also felt that the two of them had some strange ideas. It seemed that there was nothing wrong with driving to school because people suspected that they were deliberately seeking excitement and trying to attract attention.
After all, what normal person would do that? It turns out, it wasn't that other people had a problem with their thinking, unable to understand why Harry Potter and Ron Weasley would drive to school; rather, it was that the two of them had a problem with their thinking, or perhaps a death wish was brewing within them? If Albert were just an ordinary wizard, he probably would have had the same thoughts as everyone else! "What if Harry and Ron deliberately missed the train?" Lee Jordan proposed a hypothetical scenario.
"You mean..." Fred and George immediately snapped out of their daze, exchanged glances, and said in unison, "They wouldn't be thinking of riding in a Ford to school, would they?"
