Creating the Marauder's Map was far simpler than Albert had imagined; he successfully created a prototype of the map in just a short time.

However, due to insufficient proficiency, the Marauder's Map's Map was not expanded to cover the entire Hogwarts Castle, and it was also temporarily unable to target only Ginny Weasley.

The only thing that made Albert feel relieved was that after the Marauder's Map was successfully created, a skill called "Monitoring Map" appeared on his Skill Panel.

The rest is simply optimizing and improving the map to create the desired result.

"I wonder if we can mark the Basilisk on the map too," Albert murmured, looking at the Marauder's Map in his hand.

He stuffed the map into his shirt pocket and left the Room of Requirement. Ever since Isobel lost the Time-Turner, the time the two of them could spend together had drastically decreased, and even their dates needed to be arranged in advance.

Although Albert was able to use his Time-Turner to send himself and Isobel back an hour, there were still many inconveniences.

After having breakfast in the lobby, Albert went straight to Hagrid's Hunting Cabin.

Hmm, you mean your roommates? Early this morning, Fred and George were excitedly dragged by Wood to the Quidditch Pitch for training.

Lee Jordan is still unconscious.

This guy had so much fun playing unboxing and envelope-opening games last night.

Thinking about it carefully, Fred and George, who also had a blast, are actually quite pitiful, as they have to run around the court for training during the first week of school.

Perhaps it was because September had arrived, but the weather around Hogwarts was no longer as hot as before, and winter was quietly approaching.

Albert walked along the gravel path to the Hunting Cabin, knocked on the wooden door, and soon Fang sound came from inside.

Who is it?

Hagrid, wearing an apron and carrying a rooster, opened the door and, seeing Albert outside, couldn't help but joke, "Come in, our World Champion."

"Here you go!" Albert handed Hagrid a box.

"What's this?" Hagrid wiped his hands vigorously on his apron, took the box from Albert, and asked, puzzled.

"Fat gummies".

After handing the box to Hagrid, Albert knelt down and rubbed Fang's head, then took out a bag of dried fish from his pocket and fed it to the hound.

"Actually, you didn't need to buy me this kind of thing on purpose," Hagrid sighed, adding, "Don't waste Galleon in the future."

"No, I didn't buy these things," Albert said casually. "After the newspaper incident, a lot of people sent me a bunch of packages. Last night I opened all those packages and found a bunch of snacks, so I sent some over to you."

Albert usually doesn't eat things given to him by strangers, and he gives away all the snacks he gets from opening packages.

Hagrid looked at the fudge in his hand, then looked up at Albert, and suddenly didn't know what to say.

Do you want some?

Hagrid put the rooster down, went outside to fetch a bucket of water, washed his hands, unpacked the package, and poured the fudge into a bowl.

Albert didn't know what to say. Wouldn't it be better to eat it in a box? When he saw Hagrid's sausage-thick fingers pick up the gummy bear, he realized that Hagrid was probably doing it for convenience.

"Are you really not going to eat?" Hagrid began to brew tea for Albert.

"I just had breakfast," Albert said, shaking his head. "By the way, I wanted to ask you for some information."

"What news?"

"Regarding Lockhart, why did Dumbledore choose Lockhart as the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor?" Albert looked at Fang, who was quietly waiting to be fed, and fed him the remaining dried fish. "I've taken two of Lockhart's classes, and to be honest, they were absolutely terrible."

"It's difficult to find a Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor these days." Hagrid popped a few more fudge into his mouth, waited for the water in the copper kettle to boil, poured Albert a cup of amber tea, and continued, "People don't really want to do it; they think it's unlucky. You should know what I mean."

"Oh, do you remember Lockhart?" Albert asked again. "I think most professors at the university don't really like Lockhart."

"Lockhart?" Hagrid took a big gulp of tea and recalled, "To be honest, probably no one thought Lockhart would become a writer of some renown."

What kind of person is he?

"An extremely narcissistic and vain person." Hagrid nodded heavily as if to emphasize his words, "That's why he's not well-liked. Back when he was at Hogwarts, he caused a lot of trouble for everyone."

"Trouble?"

"For example, before Quidditch Match, he would carve his name on the Quidditch Pitch, each letter was very large, almost taking up the entire pitch," Hagrid recalled. "At the time, I was the one who cleaned up his mess overnight, so I remember it very well."

"That's very much like what Lockhart would do," Albert said with a laugh. "Anything else?"

"Well, Lockhart used to secretly project his own portrait into the sky at night, like the Black Mark..." Hagrid paused halfway through his sentence, as if recalling some unpleasant past events.

"The Dark Mark?"

"Well, you actually know about the Dark Mark." Hagrid couldn't help but smile wryly. "Back then, Lockhart startled everyone. Just think of the scene where his portrait suddenly appeared in mid-air; it caused quite a stir."

"It seems he is indeed quite narcissistic and enjoys promoting himself to others," Albert suddenly asked. "Has Lockhart come to see you?"

"No, what's wrong?"

"I think he should be coming to talk to you soon!" Albert said. "Is there anything else about Lockhart?"

"Another time, he sent himself a bunch of Valentine's Day cards." Hagrid didn't understand what Albert meant earlier. "I wasn't there at the time, but I heard from the professors later that a large number of owls flooded into the Great Hall and delivered a bunch of cards to Lockhart. It was a terrible sight."

"By the way, how are Lockhart's grades? I mean, how are his personal abilities?" Albert briefly recounted Lockhart's exploits from the book to Hagrid.

"I don't know. Maybe Lockhart does have some talent, but he's definitely not a hard-working student, otherwise the professors wouldn't hate him so much." Hagrid didn't believe Lockhart could do what Albert had just said. "I remember when he graduated from school, everyone breathed a sigh of relief."

No sooner had he finished speaking than there was a knock at the door. When Hagrid went to open it, he was stunned by whoever was outside.

"You were right!" Hagrid muttered to himself. When he turned around, he found that Albert, who had been sitting there, had disappeared.
