Brave Lockhart
"The situation is terrible." George sat down next to Wood, looking exhausted. "The Slytherin Team's new broom, Nimbus 2001, is just too fast. Our Flying Broom simply can't keep up."
"Sometimes, the Slytherin Team players are so fast that they are just seven blurry pale green shadows," Fred added.
Ever since Slytherin Team got their new Flying Broom, Fred and George have been secretly scouting the Slytherin Team and reporting the latest intelligence they've gathered to Wood and the players.
Wood looked very unhappy; they were completely helpless against the advantages of the new broom.
The Malfoy family were rich enough to gift the Slytherin Team Nimbus 2001, while they were still using the outdated Comet and Cleansweep models of brooms, which were nowhere near as fast.
"That Malfoy family kid only got into the team by paying money." Angelina's face showed undisguised disgust. "His skills are far inferior to Harry's. Harry, you must beat him on the field."
"I will beat him," Harry said firmly, clenching his fist. "I will."
"Don't worry, the Nimbus 2001 is indeed fast, but we can definitely beat them with tactics." Wood took a deep breath and comforted them. "Terence Higgs is an excellent Seeker, far superior to someone like Malfoy who is only half-baked. His replacement is actually a good thing for us."
Ultimately, no one came up with a good solution. Slytherin's Nimbus 2001 broom was a nightmare for players from other houses.
Before the match even began, Slytherin Team, true to their house tradition, used their financial advantage to gain a significant lead early on.
Do you think we can win the Quidditch Championship this year?
After the discussion, George looked dejected and asked Albert, who was reading "Travelling with Trolls".
"Draco Malfoy's actions were very Slytherin; he didn't break the rules of Quidditch Match," Albert said slowly. "In a way, what they did was perfectly reasonable, and I would have done the same. In fact, given the opportunity, I think you would certainly want to do the same."
"You mean we have no chance of winning?" Fred was even more frustrated. They had suffered a lot in this regard, and sometimes not having money was a real problem.
"Of course there is hope."
"What hope?"
"If you can beat the Slytherin Team and the other house teams, won't you win this year's Quidditch championship?" Albert said, uttering something utterly ridiculous.
"Isn't that obvious?" Fred and George couldn't help but retort.
"Alright, cheer up, the show's about to begin." Lee Jordan, having stuffed the last piece of bread into his stomach, leaned closer, winked at the Weasley Twins, and smiled.
"The real show... could it be that thing?" George pondered for a moment, guessing the "good thing" Lee Jordan was referring to.
When will you arrive?
Fred's surprise quickly turned into disbelief. "Damn it, you didn't even wait for us to come with you?"
"It's not a big deal," Albert said, looking speechlessly at the indignant Twins. "What are so many people going there for?"
"Do you think he might end up like I was back then, curled up in bed and refusing to get up?" Lee Jordan looked up at the professors' table, not seeing Lockhart come over for dinner.
Albert wasn't quite sure; his knowledge of Love Potion was very limited.
"I just ran into Professor Lockhart, and he seemed a bit strange." Shanna sat down and started talking to Aylia about the strange things she'd encountered on the road. "Strange?"
Before Shanna could answer, a commotion broke out outside the hall, and many students ran out to join the fun.
The Entrance Hall quickly filled with people. Students who were having dinner poured out of the Great Hall to see what was happening, and many others crowded onto the Marble Staircase. The onlookers spontaneously formed a large circle.
"Age is not a problem. Wait, don't go, let's have a good talk."
As Albert squeezed through the crowd, he heard those words. He saw Lockhart holding a girl's hand tenderly, pleading humbly, not wanting her to leave.
The girl, whose face showed surprise, panic, and a bit of impatience, stood in stark contrast to the students watching in disbelief.
"It seems a bit different from yours?"
Whether it was Fred, George, or Albert, they all turned to look at Lee Jordan. Lockhart's effects from the Love Potion were completely different from Lee Jordan's.
"Perhaps it's because the amount of Love Potion was relatively small." Albert finally came to this conclusion; Lockhart was indeed relatively normal compared to Lee Jordan.
"Professor, what's wrong with you?"
Faced with Lockhart's advances, Queenie Greengrass could only look to her female companions for help, but none of them could offer her any assistance.
"Oh my God, Professor Lockhart, what are you doing?"
Professor McGonagall appeared in the Entrance Hall, squeezed into the crowd of onlookers, and saw the melodramatic confession unfolding before her serious face, which couldn't help but show surprise and astonishment.
"Lockhart has been under a spell, or perhaps given Love Potion." Professor Snape appeared beside Professor McGonagall, scrutinizing Lockhart with interest. His gaze fell on the Slytherin girl, and he frowned as he asked, "Miss Greengrass, what did you do to Professor Lockhart?"
"Professor, I didn't do anything," Queenie Greengrass said, her voice trembling with tears. "I really don't know what happened."
"Don't you dare bully her." Lockhart's face flushed red as he turned and swung his fist at Snape.
Snape off guard, Snape was punched in the head by Lockhart, nearly knocking him to the ground, leaving all the students present dumbfounded.
This scene from the drama department was really interesting.
Many Gryffindor students, in particular, shouted excitedly.
"Lockhart, you..." Professor McGonagall was also dumbfounded by Lockhart's actions. She really didn't understand why Lockhart would throw a punch at Snape, but there was no doubt that something was wrong.
Snape was so angry after taking a punch that his face almost twisted in disbelief. He swayed a couple of times, then steadied himself, drew his wand, and froze Lockhart, who was about to pounce, in place. Snape fell backward with a loud thud.
"I suddenly realized that love can make people so brave," Albert muttered to himself, looking at Lockhart lying on the ground.
This is definitely one of Snape's Dark History; it's really hilarious.
