Returning from the library to the Gryffindor Common Room, Albert found that his three roommates had vanished who knew where.

He pushed open the dormitory door and, sure enough, no one was inside either. Better that way—no one would disturb him while he wrote his letters.

Albert took out his wand and tapped the cabinet, unlocking it and removing the box inside. He continued writing the letter to his family.

Once he had finished, Albert used the Duplication Charm to make another copy of the parchment, along with copies of all the photographs he had taken.

One set was for his parents, while the other was for his grandfather, Luke. Though he had long since left the wizarding world, Albert knew the old man would surely want to see the legendary Hogwarts School of Magic.

After all, it had been both a childhood dream and a regret.

Naturally, Albert had to write the openings and closings of the two letters separately.

When he was done, Albert placed the letters into cardboard boxes conjured with Transfiguration, then put the gifts he had bought in Hogsmeade into them separately.

Of course, he could not leave out the wizarding world's signature drinks: Pumpkin Juice and Butterbeer.

After wrapping everything up, Albert found that the parcel for his family was rather large. He could not help worrying whether his owl's small frame could bear its weight and deliver it safely to its destination.

"Looks like I can only borrow one of the school owls," Albert muttered. He picked up the Quill beside him and wrote his name, the sender's name, and the return address on the parcels.

Then he stacked the two parcels together, held them against his chest with both hands, and left the dormitory, remembering to close the door behind him.
