Background / History

After departing Loguetown, Xianuo formally named his crew the Curtain Call Adventurers and their ship the Curtain Call. Both names were chosen to represent their mission to end the Great Pirate Era. 88

At Twin Cape, Croccus warned Xianuo that the ship contained a hidden risk, identifying a stowaway aboard the Curtain Call as repayment for the crew's help with Laboon. 94

During the crew's clash with Akainu's forces, an unidentified accomplice infiltrated the vessel while its crew was ashore. The saboteur damaged the mast and tore holes in the sails without being noticed by over a hundred Marine guards. 114

The Curtain Call later returned to public attention by docking at Sabaody Archipelago after more than two months out of sight. Its arrival unsettled onlookers, many of whom had believed Xianuo dead. 160
