Background / History

A-Zhui first arrives on Blue Star unconscious after falling from the sky. Ye Chen finds her in a valley and brings her to shelter; when she wakes, she learns through dark-data readings that he held her for warmth and kissed her while she was unconscious. Though angered and armed with her Flame Sword, she ultimately leaves Blue Star rather than kill a mortal. 1 2

A century later, she returns to investigate Blue Star's development and discovers that Ye Chen has survived and founded the Yanhuang Empire. Her initial resentment becomes curiosity and affection, especially as his continued life prevents him from becoming only a brief memory in her long existence. Angel Yan and Angel Moi quickly recognize her interest in him. 3 12

As a Guardian Angel, A-Zhui is concerned that Ye Chen's rapidly expanding empire may eventually conflict with the Angel Civilization's Justice Order. Despite those misgivings, she accepts Ye Chen as her male god and swears a Guardian Angel Oath to him, then remains near Blue Star to protect him. 19 20 21

Holy Kesha approves A-Zhui's retirement application and stations her in the Chiwu Star System, effectively allowing her to remain in the Solar System. Personality

A-Zhui is initially a disciplined, taciturn battle Angel whose life has been defined by missions and combat. Her Angel upbringing makes her reluctant to kill a mortal without cause, even after Ye Chen violates her boundaries during their first encounter. 12

She is earnest about the Justice Order and fears that Ye Chen's ambition could turn the Yanhuang Empire into a threat to weaker civilizations. Her affection for Ye Chen repeatedly conflicts with this conviction, and she chooses to trust him even when she recognizes that he is persuading her emotionally. 19 20 21

As Empress, A-Zhui becomes increasingly practical and politically minded. She remains uneasy with indiscriminate destruction and weapons capable of eliminating planetary life, but she ultimately prioritizes Yanhuang's security and interests.
