Allen, resting against a tree to regain his strength, suddenly felt an inexplicable sense of dread.

He looked up at the flock of crows still circling in midair outside the forest. For some reason, they had not followed them in, instead circling outside and constantly beating their wings, as if they feared something.

Allen felt somewhat relieved. It seemed these grim reapers would not be flying in anytime soon.

Though he could not understand why, at least they were safe for now. The urgent matter was finding something to eat and restoring their strength. After running so long on an empty stomach, dehydration and exhaustion would be dangerous.

They could not go back outside, so they could only venture deeper into the forest in search of a way to survive. With a sigh, Allen dragged his exhausted body to his feet.

Dina, on the other hand, looked full of energy, constantly running back and forth.

"This should be the Fierce Beast Forest!" Allen sighed. "Stay close to me. Let's see if we can pass through it and enter the Savage Ancient Plains."

The depths of the forest were pitch-black, like a mass of mist, instinctively making him feel an inexplicable danger.

Dina's expression suddenly changed, and she pointed into the depths of the forest. Allen listened carefully, and faint roars drifted out from within.

Along with those beastlike roars, the ground beneath their feet began to tremble slightly.

All Allen could do was smile bitterly. As the trembling beneath his feet grew stronger, he finally understood where that inexplicable dread had come from.

It was the intuition he had developed through countless battles, a precognitive sense of danger.
