Background / History

Dina was born to Bloodhoof, the previous Bloody Hoof Tribe Chieftain, and Helen-Lena, then a Holy Light Priestess assigned to care for the captured and wounded barbarian leader. Bloodhoof later died while attempting to rescue Helen-Lena from human territory, after which the Holy See exiled her to Outpost County. 31 495

Raised in Outpost County, Dina helped her mother tend the border army's wounded. During a Behemoth assault, her Titan Bloodline awakened and turned the battle by disabling the enemy shamans' battle songs. She suffered a head injury during the fighting, losing her childhood memories. With Helen-Lena missing, the Grand Duke took Dina to the Royal City, where she became part of his household and eventually served Allen as a maid. 31

Although called a maid, Dina was treated like a daughter by Allen's parents and was Allen's longtime companion. In Outpost County, she defended Allen from Austin's entourage, defeating Dick and Jess with a seven-meter Dragon Spear despite having no formal martial training. 3 30

Her Titan Bloodline was exposed after it interfered with Legion Commander Xiulunte's Battle Qi. Allen and Bishop Wood then protected her by presenting her conversion to the Overgod as genuine, resulting in the Church naming her a Candidate Saintess and using her as a public symbol of conversion. 20 22 23 24

Big Babylon's testimony restores Dina's memories of her heritage and mother. Allen promises to help her find Helen-Lena, leading Dina to travel with him toward the Savage Ancient Plains and the Bloody Hoof Tribe. 30 31 34

Dina eventually reunites with Helen-Lena at the Bloody Hoof Tribe camp, but becomes disturbed by her mother's fixation on the tribe's military strength and hostility toward the Holy See. Helen-Lena later abducts Dina through a portal and uses a Spirit-Piercing Seal to hold her hostage. 492 498 501

Held in the Ice Palace by the Ice Goddess Cult, Dina remains confident that Allen will rescue her. When Allen arrives, she defies Helen-Lena, kills her with a broken sword, and frees herself from the elemental seal. The seal's activation leaves Dina frozen and near death. 539 543 545
