As for Allen, the head chef, he had set up the grill, lit the fire, cut the meat, and maintained order until he was exhausted like a mangy dog that had sprinted ten miles.

In the end, he only managed to scrounge a few bites of leftovers from the Wasteland Brutal Bears, while Little Zack, the sous-chef, temporarily forgot his troubles because of the delicious food.

Allen, who believed waste was a crime, gathered several relatively intact tiger pelts, cut them into regular shapes, dried them beside the bonfire, and removed the excess fur.
