Background / History

Nuwa created the Human Race by the East Sea and later moved it to the foot of Mount Buzhou. Over time, human settlements spread again to the East Sea shore. During its early existence, humanity was vulnerable, lacked an innate cultivation path, and relied heavily on the Three Human Ancestors and their merit-based spiritual treasures. 18 20

Cangyuan, who regarded his essence as human despite being a transformed spiritual treasure, sought out the race because of its approaching calamity. The Three Human Ancestors—Suiren Shi, Youchao Shi, and Ziyi Shi—accepted his protection and recognized him as the Fourth Human Ancestor. 18 25

During the Heavenly Marriage, Cangyuan and the Three Ancestors secretly began relocating humanity into the Human World. The migration ultimately transferred seventy trillion humans, shielding them from the coming Witch-Demon conflict and the Demon Race's plans to harvest human souls for the Witch-Slaying Sword. 26 27 41

After settling in the Human World, the race developed under the Three Ancestors' leadership and Cangyuan's Martial Dao. Cangyuan later concealed the Human Race within a Middle Thousand World inside a Sea Calming Pearl, accounting for its disappearance from the Prehistoric World. 37 90

The Human Race subsequently entered its era of great prosperity through the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors. Its leaders established political institutions, forged alliances, and eventually founded Great Xia after Da Yu delineated the Nine Provinces and forged the Nine Cauldrons. 90 104 144 164

Story Role / Major Arcs

Concealment and Migration

Humanity's first major crisis was its vulnerability during the Witch-Demon conflict. Cangyuan and the Three Ancestors removed most humans from the Prehistoric World and resettled them in the Human World, preventing the Demon Race from finding them. 26 27 41

Establishment of the Martial Dao

With the Human World protected and enriched by Innate Spiritual Energy, Cangyuan developed and preached the Martial Dao. This transformed humanity from a race with no inherent cultivation system into a rapidly strengthening martial civilization. 27 37

Rise of the Human Sovereigns

Humanity emerged from concealment to begin the era of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors. Fuxi's Fengshan Ceremony demonstrated that even ordinary tribespeople possessed cultivation, while the Human Sovereigns became the race's political and spiritual leaders. 104 114

Ascendance as a Prehistoric Power

The Human Race's one hundred thousand Golden Immortals forced the Dragon Clan to back down and demonstrated its status as a potential hegemon. Its later alliance with the Dragon Clan further secured its position and material stability. 119 144 145

Defense of Human Authority

Xuanyuan used the Kongtong Seal to strip Ji Fa and Western Zhou of their human identity after Ji Fa proclaimed himself Son of Heaven. The punishment affirmed that the Human Sovereign, rather than the Heavenly Dao, held final authority over membership in the Human Race. 347

Martial God Realm Foundation

By the time of Cangyuan's summons, the Human Race possessed a vast hidden reserve in the Martial God Realm, alongside Quasi-@@REF_ENTITY_11311818@@ Ancestors, Humanity Path Saints, the Five Emperors, and generations of Human Sovereigns. 375
