• Ji Chang renamed Xi Qi the Great Zhou and swore an oath to Heavenly Dao, whose blessings greatly increased the state’s national fortune.
• Humanity Path prepared to punish Ji Chang, but Heavenly Dao invoked their agreement and Earth Path persuaded Humanity Path to withdraw its divine thunder.

• Daoist Tianzun accepted the Chan Sect disciples’ encouragement and went to challenge the Shang Army, while Jinzha and Muzha withdrew rather than fight him.

• Nangong Shi ordered the Western Zhou army to retreat; only a little over one hundred thousand of its seven hundred thousand troops escaped, while the rest were killed or captured.

At Chaos Three Immortal Island, Zhenyuanzi visited Cangyuan and asked about Shennong’s Primordial Violet Qi and impending attainment of the Dao.

• Ji Chang learned that Binzhou and Chuzhou were devastated and costly burdens, then heard Ji Liu’s surprise force had been wiped out at Jiameng Pass by Yang Jiao and the Mo Family Four Generals; he fainted after all four routes failed.
• Guangchengzi said the Chan Sect would prepare carefully to rescue Daoxing, who had not entered the Investiture of the Gods, and sent Shen Gongbao to ask their teacher for help concealing their actions.
• Maitreya proposed poisoning Great Shang’s soldiers, and Medicine Master agreed to provide poison after they decided mortals would administer it to avoid immortal action against mortals.

Zhenyuanzi asked Cangyuan for help attaining the Dao, and Cangyuan proposed that he restore the Western Land’s shattered earth veins to earn merit and obtain the Earth Path’s Primordial Violet Qi. Zhenyuanzi worried that Zhunti and Jieyin would block him, and Cangyuan hinted that they had another creditor besides the Heavenly Dao.

• Shennong secretly informed Zhenyuanzi that the Human Race had obtained another strand of Primordial Violet Qi and that he would enter secluded cultivation to attain the Dao.
• Zhenyuanzi visited Cangyuan and asked him to help find an opportunity for him to attain the Dao.
• Cangyuan accepted the system’s mission to devise a plan for Zhenyuanzi and explained that restoring the Western Land’s earth veins could bring him immense merit and Earth Path Primordial Violet Qi.

• Zhunti and Jieyin eagerly accepted Zhenyuanzi’s offer to restore the Western Land’s earth veins in exchange for erasing their debt to Hongyun.

• Guangchengzi and Immortal Weng of the South Pole drove back Six-Eared Macaque and led the Chan Sect immortals into a battle through the void as Zhao Gongming pursued them.
