Great Shang repeatedly defeated the Western Zhou forces while Cangyuan maneuvered against the Chan Sect and Western Teach. After the poisoning scheme failed and Huqi City fell, the Western Zhou court faced a retreat as the Shang Army advanced toward Qiyi.

• Di Xin sent Nezha and Ao Bing to the front as vanguard officers, while Ji Chang renamed Xi Qi Great Zhou and launched a three-route campaign against Great Shang.
• Yang Jian, Jinzha, and Muzha defeated Xi Qi’s champions, and Nezha saved Li Jing before capturing Daoist Tianzun after defeating him.
• Wen Zhong’s army crushed Nangong Shi’s forces at Yu Dong City, while Ji Chang learned that the other Western Zhou routes had also suffered costly defeats.
• Zhenyuanzi agreed to restore the Western Land’s earth veins in exchange for the Two Sages of the West repaying their karmic debt, while Kunpeng agreed to aid Western Zhou.
• The Chan Sect and Western Teach entered the Shang camp to rescue Daoxing Tianzun and poison the army, but Shang forces ambushed them and captured Lingbao Da Fashi as well.
• Di Xin revealed to Daoist Tianzun and Lingbao Da Fashi that he was Cangyuan, then sent Lu Ya to confront Kunpeng, who avoided Lu Ya’s challenge.
• Zhao Gongming pursued Daoist Randeng and killed Xiao Sheng and Cao Bao, but Daoist Guai intervened and persuaded Randeng to accept Zhunti as his teacher.
• Medicine Master’s poison failed because the Shang soldiers had not eaten the tainted food, and Wen Zhong routed the Western Zhou army, captured Huqi City, and pursued the retreating troops toward Qiyi.

As Ji Fa claimed to be Heaven’s son, Xuanyuan stripped Western Zhou of its Human Race identity and fought Zhunti, bringing the Saints to the brink of war. Cangyuan learned that the Saints planned to seal him and attack Chaoge, then proposed sending the Jie Teach Disciples to the Human Race.

• After Ji Chang died, Bo Yikao surrendered to Great Shang while Ji Fa consolidated Western Zhou, and Di Xin took Xiao Bai beyond the world to help her attain the Three Corpses Hunyuan Great Luo Golden Immortal realm.
• Cangyuan joined Sect Master Tongtian and Primordial Lord of Heaven in planning to attack the Heavenly Dao, while Primordial Lord of Heaven secretly remained on Cangyuan’s side.
• Zhunti and Jieyin persuaded Ji Fa to proclaim himself Heaven’s son, despite warnings from San Yisheng, Taidian, and Nangong Shi.
• Ji Fa declared himself Heaven’s son, and the Heavenly Dao blessed Western Zhou, but Xuanyuan used the Kongtong Seal to strip Ji Fa and Western Zhou of their Human Race identity.
• Xuanyuan attacked Zhunti, and Tongtian intervened against Jieyin before Primordial Lord of Heaven and the other Saints arrived and the confrontation nearly became a larger battle.
• Taiqing Saint Laozi stopped the fighting, then proposed sealing Cangyuan, suppressing Tongtian, and helping Western Zhou attack Chaoge.
• Primordial Lord of Heaven secretly warned Tongtian and Cangyuan that the Saints planned to act immediately, and Cangyuan proposed sending all the Jie Teach Disciples to the Human Race.

Cangyuan and his allies defeated the Saints’ attempt to break Tongtian’s sword formation, then confronted the Heavenly Dao and exposed its designs against Jie Sect and Humanity Path. As the Three Dao Wills battled beyond the heavens, Cangyuan gathered the immortals and Human Race to prepare an attack on Heaven.

• Tongtian summoned Jie Sect’s disciples to Jin'ao Island, then sent them to aid Great Shang while Cangyuan secretly transported them to Chaoge and gathered his allies.
• Cangjie and Yuan Feng attained the Dao, and Cangyuan retrieved the Ice Demon God’s corpse before an unknown figure trapped him on the River of Time.
• Tongtian faced Laozi, Primordial Lord of Heaven, Jieyin, and Zhunti with the Immortal-Slaying Sword Formation as Jie Sect and Shang forces fought Western Zhou and its allies.
• Xiao Bai killed Zhunti and revealed her Hunyuan Great Luo Golden Immortal cultivation, while Primordial Lord of Heaven killed Jieyin and fought him after he revived.
• Cangyuan entered the sword formation, killed Taiqing Laozi’s Shangqing and Yuqing incarnations, took their origins, and broke the Saints’ attempt to seize the swords.
• Cangyuan’s allies used the Boundless Heaven Sealing Array to cut Heavenly Dao Hongjun off from the Primordial World, and Hongjun revealed that the Canonization of Gods was meant to suppress Humanity Path and destroy Jie Sect.
• Cangyuan and his allies planned to combine the Three Treasures of World Creation with the Myriad Immortals Formation to attack Heaven, while Hongjun explained that Cangyuan needed enough power to defeat the Heavenly Dao in one blow.
• Tongtian summoned Jie Sect’s immortals, the Human Race assembled the Great Array of Zhou Tian Stars, and Cangyuan called on Wangshu for aid.

Cangyuan shattered the Heavenly Dao’s plan, repaired the Primordial Land, and reshaped the aftermath of the Investiture of the Gods while secretly serving as Di Xin. After revealing himself and confronting the question of Jiang Zitong’s identity, he negotiated with Houtu as the great sect leaders began pursuing Dao Integration.

• Cangyuan wielded the World Creation Divine Axe against the Heavenly Dao, shattered the Primordial Land, and learned from Pangu that its destruction was part of a plan to transcend Chaos and resist the Black Tide.
• Cangyuan agreed with Pangu to preserve the coming calamities while changing parts of their course, then led the powerful beings in rebuilding the Primordial Land and distributing the divine offices.
• Cangyuan oversaw the Canonization of the Gods, appointed the new gods, and sent Daoist Duobao to establish Buddhism in preparation for the next Calamity.
• Cangyuan restored the Jade Disc of Creation, upgraded the Chaos Bell, and arranged to pass the Human Sovereign throne to Wu Geng, then revealed that he had been Di Xin all along.
• The Human Dao named Jiang Zitong a Benevolent and Virtuous Saint Empress, and she realized she was Houtu’s reincarnation before Cangyuan took her and his companions to Chaos Three Immortal Island.
• Tongtian approved Duobao’s departure to establish a new school and gave him the Twelve-Petal World Purifying White Lotus, while Houtu negotiated with Cangyuan over Jiang Zitong and the revival of the Ancestral Witches.
• Houtu struck Cangyuan unconscious and arranged for Jiang Zitong to fuse Primordial Spirits with her, while a thousand years passed and the mortal dynasty weakened.
• Primordial Lord of Heaven attained Dao Integration through a mobile Dao Domain, and Tongtian and Jieyin considered their own paths to advancement.
