"Broomflower Barbarian!" The leader of the Sauron, wielding an axe, was none other than Olf. His eyes flashed with ferocity as he roared almost instinctively, swinging his short axe at Roderick, who was closest to him!

"Damn it!" Roderick didn't have time to think. His survival instinct made him lean back sharply and raise his left hand to block!

"Thud!" The blade of the short axe grazed his forearm, leaving a trail of blood. His leather armor was cut open, and it stung with pain! If he hadn't dodged in time, that axe would have severed his arm!

"Kill them!" The other four Sauron soldier reacted as well, yelling and drawing their weapons as they charged forward!

"Go for it!" Mark reacted extremely quickly. Almost at the same time the other side made their move, he raised the Flintlock Rifle he had been holding and, without even bothering to aim, pulled the trigger at the nearest Sauron soldier!

"Bang!" The muzzle flashed in the narrow alley, deafeningly loud! A burst of blood erupted from the chest of the Sauron soldier, and he fell backward with a scream.

But at such close range, after firing the shot, he had no way to dodge anymore, as another Sauron soldier's spear was already aimed at Mark's throat!

"Watch out!" Elton raised his spear and desperately parried the fatal blow. The metal clashed, and sparks flew!

After Roderick delivered the first blow, he drew his Battle Axe from his waist and engaged Olf in combat.

After firing an empty shot, Mark didn't have time to reload, so he swung the carbine like a club and smashed it at the enemy.

Elton and another soldier stood back to back, desperately using their spears to fend off the onslaught of two other Sauron soldier.

In the narrow alley, the space was compressed to the extreme, to the point where you could almost hear each other breathing.

The battle erupted into its most intense phase the moment the two sides met; there was no probing, only a fight to the death!

Roderick and Olf, the axe-wielder of Sauron, instantly clashed like two ferocious beasts meeting on a narrow path!

Both were experienced veterans who knew that there was no room for fancy tricks in this environment; it was all about strength, speed, and ruthlessness!

"Clang! Clang! Bang!"

Roderick's Battle Axe and Olf's short-handled axe clashed violently at a dazzling speed! The heavy axe blades collided with a piercing metallic clang and dazzling sparks! Each collision sent shivers down their spines.

Roderick's axe techniques were wide and powerful, attempting to overwhelm his opponent with brute force; while Olf was more cunning and ruthless, his short axe like a viper's tongue, targeting Roderick's joints and gaps in his armor, narrowly missing him several times and leaving a trail of blood.

The two maneuvered nimbly in the confined space, their feet treading on rubble and bloodstains, each dodge and parry fraught with peril.

On the other side, Mark was also locked in a fierce battle with the Sauron soldier wielding Armed Sword.

Mark's musket became useless after the first shot; he could only use it as a short stick, swinging it around and smashing it at his opponent.

The Sauron soldier were clearly elite; after the initial shock, they quickly regained their footing, wielding their Armed Sword with impenetrable precision, accurately parrying Mark's repeated blows. Their blades would occasionally lash out like venomous snakes, forcing Mark to retreat repeatedly, putting him in grave danger.

Mark was completely outmatched and could only barely hold on, desperately searching for an opportunity to counterattack.

The most critical situation was between Elton and the recruit! Both of them were using spears, which are effective weapons in open areas, but in such narrow alleys, they were practically a hindrance!

The spear shaft was too long to be swung effectively, and the thrusting was difficult to generate power due to the limited space.

The new recruit, in particular, had a short training period and was under immense psychological pressure facing the ferocious veteran Sauron, making his movements stiff and distorted.

In a panic, he thrust his spear at an approaching Sauron soldier, but the soldier easily caught the spear shaft with his handguard and shoved him aside with tremendous force! The immense force caused the recruit to lose his balance, and the spear nearly slipped from his grasp!

If he doesn't let go, his entire arm could be severed by the blade that comes slashing down!

"Ah!" The survival instinct made the recruit instinctively release his spear, staggering backward and falling wide open!

The Sauron soldier grinned cruelly, took a step forward, and thrust his Hand-and-a-Half Sword, which whistled through the air, straight at the recruit's unprotected chest! The recruit was about to die on the spot!

"Damn it! Take this!"

At the critical moment, Elton roared from the side!

Seeing his companion in danger, and being entangled by another Sauron soldier, unable to provide direct assistance, he made an extremely bold contingency in a moment of desperation!

He rubbed his hands together sharply, and his right hand, which was originally holding the butt of the spear, slid forward quickly and, together with his left hand, grasped the middle of the spear! In this way, the spear instantly became a double-headed club with a spearhead at the front and a shaft at the back!

He abandoned his thrust at the enemy in front of him, and with a burst of strength from his waist, he swept the back of his spear, which was carrying a counterweight, out like a club, slamming it hard into the side of the Sauron soldier was about to stab the recruit!

With a muffled thud, the Sauron soldier, completely unprepared for the sudden attack from the side, felt a sharp pain in his ribs. He groaned and staggered several steps to the side, his sword, aimed at the recruit, missing its mark.

The recruit, having narrowly escaped death, looked at Elton with a mixture of gratitude and lingering fear.

"What are you daydreaming about! Pick up your weapon! Stand against the wall!" Elton shouted urgently, gripping the middle of the spear shaft tightly with both hands, adopting a peculiar stance—the spear tip pointing forward, the shaft pulled back, his whole body resembling a taut hedgehog.

The two repelled Sauron soldier, recovering from their shock, exchanged a glance, both seeing anger and murderous intent in each other's eyes.

They launched a pincer attack on Elton from both the front and the back, roaring simultaneously!

However, Elton's impromptu "Mid-Grip Spear Technique" proved surprisingly effective in the confined space!

Using the length of the spear shaft, he controlled the spear tip with his left hand to make precise parries and thrusts, forcing back the enemy on the left; while his right hand wielded the heavy counterweight ball on the spear shaft, sweeping and smashing like a flail, effectively preventing the enemy on the right from getting close!

The spearhead was like a venomous snake spitting its tongue, and the shaft was like an iron hammer shaking the ground!

For a moment, he single-handedly used the terrain and the characteristics of his weapons to hold off the combined attack of two Sauron soldier, preventing them from getting close!

"Well done, Elton!" Mark, who was struggling in the middle of a battle, caught a glimpse of this scene and couldn't help but shout his approval, his spirits lifted.

Elton's brief advantage, created by his mid-spear grip, ultimately couldn't last against the experienced Sauron soldier.

The Sauron soldier, who had been struck in the ribs by the weighted ball on the spear shaft, endured the excruciating pain. A fierce glint flashed in his eyes. Instead of retreating, he seized the moment when Elton swung the spear shaft and lunged forward, risking being hit, to grab the end of the spear with both hands!

"Let go!" The Sauron soldier grinned maliciously, pulling backward with all his might!
