After unsuccessful attempts involving souls and the underworld, he pursued a method of recreating a desired point in history by adjusting all matter in the world—a “rollback” rather than literal time reversal. 113 154

Grand Bishop of Schicksal

Cooperation with Kaino

Kaino initially held Otto responsible for the destruction of his family and struck him hard enough to deform his Soul Steel face. The two formed a conditional partnership: Otto would allow the resurrection of one additional person if Kaino could bear the cost, while Kaino would retrieve key items and assist with the plan. 113

Abdication and the Herrscher of Domination

Otto publicly resigned as Bishop and named Theresa as Schicksal's new leader. He stated that he had no interest in ruling or fighting the Honkai beyond what was necessary to fulfill his wish for Kallen. 141 156

To expose the hidden Herrscher of Domination, Otto used Xiao Shi's Authority to trigger a global sleep phenomenon through specific keywords. The sleep caused no side effects beyond unconsciousness and was intended to make the Herrschers easier to identify and control. 158 159

Pseudo-God Authority

Otto used a plan requiring Kaino and Bianca to kill him, allowing him to seize Pseudo-God Authority from the Imaginary Tree. He gained a connection that granted rapid recovery from fatal injuries, but the power also threatened to turn him into a puppet of the Tree. 164 165
