Queen Mother of the West's Palace

Looking at the vast Underground Palace in the darkness not far away, the Mo Li Trio were all somewhat stunned. This was underground, after all. Even if this enormous subterranean space had formed naturally, constructing such a massive palace complex here would not have been easy—especially in an era when technology was underdeveloped. A project of this scale would probably have taken tens of thousands of people more than a decade to complete.

Perhaps the sight was simply too shocking. The Mo Li Trio stared blankly at the enormous Underground Palace in the distance, their astonishment beyond words. Wei Dengke swallowed, then asked in a slightly trembling voice, "Madman, is this our final destination?"

Mo Li did not answer, but Wei Dengke's words brought him back from his stunned state. After glancing at the radio in his hand, Mo Li unexpectedly started walking toward the Underground Palace. Wei Dengke and Wen Jing hurried after him.

The entrance beneath the Soul Tree was still some distance from the Underground Palace, so it took the three of them quite a while to reach it. However, only when they truly arrived at the entrance were they completely overwhelmed. They had been far away before, and the dim light had made the Underground Palace's visual impact seem limited to its vastness. Now that they were standing before it, they finally realized what true enormity meant!
