War God Beast (II)

Facing the enormous War God Beast Lu Wu, the Mo Li Trio were dumbfounded. How were they supposed to fight this thing? It was like trying to fight a Transformer! They were on completely different scales. Forget the three of them—even thirty more people like them wouldn't have been able to defeat the thing before them!

About ten meters away, Lu Wu looked at the three of them with utter contempt. The pressure radiating from its body alone had already made Wei Dengke and Wen Jing's legs tremble. Fortunately, they had experienced countless adventures, and their minds were fairly resilient. Otherwise, they probably would have been scared limp by now.

Of the three, Mo Li was still relatively calm. After glancing from the corners of his eyes at his two companions, whose bodies were shaking like sieves, Mo Li said in a low voice, "I'll draw this thing's attention in a moment. You two run as fast as you can. Remember, split up—don't run together, or it'll take you both out at once!"

Wei Dengke and Wen Jing both nodded at Mo Li's words. They really wanted to stay and help him, but they knew their own limits. With their physical strength, staying behind would only hold him back. If things went badly, Mo Li might even be harmed because he had to look after them.

Lu Wu simply stared at the three of them without making a move, as though it were waiting for them to act first. With Lu Wu motionless, the three of them didn't dare move recklessly either. For a moment, the scene fell into a strange standoff.

The longer the standoff continued, the more nervous the three of them became. Wei Dengke subconsciously swallowed, and in the deathly silent surroundings, the sound was jarringly loud.
