Naruto builds friendships and trains while learning the truth about his family and surviving an attack tied to the Cloud delegation. He enters the Ninja Academy determined to grow stronger and make a life of his own.

• Naruto earned Hinata’s approval by guiding her home, then began building a cautious connection with the Third Hokage and learning to live independently.
• Naruto befriended Hinata, Shikamaru, and Choji, trained with the Nine-Tails’ help, and gained Malice Perception after sharing food-flavored Chakra with Kurama.
• Naruto received admission to the Ninja Academy and the Shadow Clone Jutsu, while Hinata gave him gloves and a blessing note.
• Tenpu attacked Naruto and revealed that he was the Fourth Hokage’s son, so Naruto killed Tenpu and let the Nine-Tails’ Chakra drive him into a rampage.
• Kakashi and the Third Hokage stopped Naruto, and Naruto later learned that the Third Hokage had concealed his identity and reinforced the seal to restrict the Nine-Tails.

Naruto drew closer to Sasuke while exploiting the growing rift between the Uchiha and Konoha, then intervened in Shisui’s attempt to stop the coup and took his remaining Mangekyō Sharingan. The Uchiha crisis continued as Naruto’s bid for early graduation failed, and he left Shisui hidden in the Death Forest for months.

• Naruto encouraged Hinata to grow stronger, sparred with Sasuke, and began teaching him Shadow Clone training in exchange for Uchiha techniques.
• Sasuke invited Naruto to the Uchiha compound, where an Uchiha’s genjutsu attack failed against the Nine-Tails, and the Third Hokage warned Naruto not to return.
• Shisui planned to use Kotoamatsukami on Fugaku to prevent a coup, but Danzo attacked him, stole his right eye, and forced him to flee Root.
• Naruto disguised himself as Itachi, took Shisui’s remaining eye, and hid the weakened Shisui in a base in the Death Forest.
• Itachi awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan after Shisui was believed dead, then told Konoha’s leaders that Shisui had committed suicide to stop the coup.
• Naruto transplanted Shisui’s remaining eye into himself and discovered that Shisui had used Kotoamatsukami on himself before Naruto took it.

Naruto helped Shisui uncover the Uchiha’s plans and organize an escape from Konoha, while Itachi carried out the clan massacre to protect the village and Sasuke. Naruto defected with the Scroll of Seals, and the surviving Uchiha fled with Shisui toward the Land of Whirlpools as the Third Hokage concealed their departures.

• Naruto persuaded Shisui that the Uchiha could not coexist safely with Konoha, and Shisui stole the Sharingan stored beneath Naka Shrine to prepare the clan’s escape.
• Shisui gathered Uchiha who opposed the coup and planned to lead them out of Konoha, while Itachi agreed to help Obito destroy the clan in exchange for Sasuke’s safety.
• Fugaku revealed the Uchiha’s plan to use Naruto and the Nine-Tails against the Hokage Building, and Itachi informed Konoha’s leaders that the coup would begin that night.
• Shisui took over as clan head and ordered the Uchiha to leave Konoha, while Naruto stole the Scroll of Seals and fought Kakashi before Danzo declared him a missing-nin.
• Obito attacked the Uchiha as Itachi killed clansmen, and Shisui fought Itachi before the survivors discovered the slaughter and began evacuating.
• Naruto defeated Danzo’s Root pursuit, while Shisui led the surviving Uchiha from Konoha and found Naruto at their temporary camp.

Naruto left Konoha and built a base in Uzushio Village, gathering the surviving Uchiha and restoring the Uzumaki clan’s legacy. As Kirigakure ninja arrived and the Fourth Mizukage’s control came into question, Naruto offered Uzushio’s help against the hidden mastermind.

• Sasuke vowed to avenge his family, while Hinata defeated Neji and secured Hiashi’s permission to invite Naruto to the Hyuga Compound.
• Naruto removed the Eight Trigrams Seal, met Minato Namikaze in the Sealing Space, and set out to find the Uzumaki legacy in Uzushio Village.
• Naruto and Shisui defeated Rogue Ninjas, found Homura Uzumaki, and arranged for more than a hundred Uchiha and their families to settle in Uzushio Village.
• Naruto summoned Ashina Uzumaki with Impure World Reincarnation, defeated him, and persuaded him to teach Uzumaki techniques and help manage the village.
• Obito recruited Kisame and worked to destabilize Kirigakure, while Jiraiya learned Naruto had left Konoha and set out to find him.
