Naruto sealed the Dragon Vein, defeated Danzo, and helped shape Uzushio Village while Nagato returned to the past and Hinata claimed her place as heir. Two years later, Naruto’s team entered Konoha’s Chunin Exams, where old rivalries flared and Naruto set out to help Sasuke in the Death Forest.

• Naruto defeated Danzo, sealed the Dragon Vein with Sara, and erased her memories of the future before disappearing from the past.
• Nagato returned to the era of Yahiko’s Akatsuki, warned Yahiko about Hanzo’s trap, and discovered the old man connected to the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
• Naruto brought Sara and the Rōran survivors under Uzushio Village’s protection, took the Dragon Vein Core, and later gained Cursed Seal Technology from Orochimaru.
• Hinata revealed her Shikotsumyaku, stopped the elders from marking Hanabi, and became the Hyuga clan heir with Hiashi’s support.
• Over two years, Naruto developed Uzushio Village while Nagato expanded Amegakure and the Akatsuki, and Shisui delivered Jiraiya’s invitation to the Chunin Exams.

Naruto watched Orochimaru and the Sarutobi Clan’s plot bring Konoha to the brink of collapse, while reviving Minato and Kushina and defeating Shukaku. After the Third Hokage’s death, Naruto recruited Kakashi to Uzushio Village, and Kakashi publicly challenged Hiruzen’s record at the funeral.

• Naruto helped Hinata and the others fight Kimimaro, then confronted Orochimaru and let Sasuke overhear Orochimaru’s claims about Itachi.
• Naruto revived Minato and Kushina with the Impure World Reincarnation Jutsu and revealed his identity, his life in Uzushio, and Orochimaru’s plan to attack Konoha.
• Orochimaru’s Konoha Crush Plan began during Sasuke and Gaara’s exam match, as the Third Hokage faced Orochimaru and the reanimated First and Second Hokage while Konoha’s forces battled the invaders.
• Naruto demanded the Land of Rivers in exchange for Uzushio’s aid, defeated Shukaku, and sealed part of its chakra within himself before Gaara chose to stay with him.
• Orochimaru killed the Third Hokage and escaped as Tsunade, Minato, and Kushina fought the reanimated Hokage, while Naruto refused to join Konoha’s next confrontation.
• Jiraiya took charge of Konoha’s response, Kakashi and Might Guy fought Obito, and Naruto urged Kakashi to join Uzushio after the funeral.
• At the Third Hokage’s funeral, Kakashi revealed Naruto was Minato’s son and accused Hiruzen of concealing the truth, tolerating Danzo’s experiments, and allowing Orochimaru to escape.

Naruto exposed Konoha’s complicity in the Uchiha massacre, then dealt with time travelers and captured Urashiki while learning of the Otsutsuki threat. Meanwhile, Madara and Obito moved against Nagato, who sought refuge in Uzushio and learned the truth of the Moon Eye Plan.

• Kakashi and Shisui accused Konoha’s leaders of enabling the Uchiha massacre, and Naruto revealed that the Land of Fire’s Daimyo had also joined the Konoha Crush Plan before declaring Uzushio’s claim to its property.
• Obito revived Madara with Impure World Reincarnation, and they planned to target Nagato before confronting Naruto.
• Boruto and Great Sasuke traveled through time to Konoha, where Naruto recognized Boruto as his son and joined forces with Great Sasuke to confront Urashiki.
• Naruto and Great Sasuke captured and sealed Urashiki, extracted his knowledge and Chakra, and learned about Isshiki, Shibai, and the Otsutsuki threat.
• Boruto and Great Sasuke returned to their era, while Naruto sent Shisui to protect the Dragon Vein Core and began preparing his allies for future threats.
• Madara and Obito attacked Nagato and seized his Rinnegan, but Nagato escaped with Konan to Uzushio after learning that Madara had deliberately let him go.
• Sasuke awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan and challenged Naruto, who later brought Sasuke and Kakashi to meet Nagato and Konan.

Naruto defeated Obito and the Moon Hyuga, brought the Moon Clan into the shinobi world, and helped Hinata abolish the Hyuga Caged Bird system. As Amegakure went to war under Madara’s control, Naruto sought guidance from Gamamaru and Katsuyu about the Otsutsuki and their mysterious laboratory.

• Naruto recruited Nagato and Konan, then lured Obito’s group into a trap and defeated Obito with Konan’s help before capturing him and taking Itachi’s Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Naruto brought Sasuke and Itachi to Uzushio, where the Uchiha clan judged Itachi and Shisui trapped him in Izanami.
• After learning that the Moon Hyuga had attacked the clan and taken Hanabi, Naruto and Hinata traveled to the moon and confronted Toneri and the Otsutsuki elders.
• Naruto defeated Toneri and returned Hanabi’s eyes, while Hinata took control of the Tenseigan and led the Moon Clan to agree to atone in the shinobi world.
• Hinata returned to the Hyuga Compound and proposed abolishing the Caged Bird system, which the clan unanimously ended.
• Naruto learned that Madara had taken Nagato’s Rinnegan and control of Amegakure, and agreed to attend the Five Kage Summit as war loomed.
