Shirou took a Church assignment with Karen, defeated the monsters behind a French town’s disappearances, and brought the injured Karen home. An invitation drew him and Rin to the Mage’s Eye Collection Train, where they encountered prominent magi and learned the auction might involve stolen eyes and a missing keepsake.

• Shirou accepted work as the Fuyuki Church’s Acting Priest and traveled to France with Karen to hunt Ode Bolzak.
• Shirou killed Ode and discovered that Heinrich Zeppter controlled the town’s ghouls, then destroyed Zeppter’s monstrous body with the Enma-Blade.
• Shirou, Natalia, and Karen exposed Doctor Arach as Heinrich’s accomplice, and Shirou killed her after she attacked Karen.
• Shirou brought Karen, suffering from a dangerous fever, to the Amamiya Residence, then found an invitation to the Mage’s Eye Collection Train auction.
• Shirou invited Rin to accompany him, and they boarded the train with Luvia after meeting her at the London station.
• Shirou faced Lord Ulysses and met Olga-Marie, Leinys, and Yvette as the train’s guests discussed his reputation and the auction.
• Rin and Luvia argued over their families’ history and who would share a room with Shirou, until Shirou ordered them to behave.
• Yvette revealed that the train abducted people to take their Mystic Eyes, while Shirou sensed interest in him at the auction and was asked to help Olga-Marie find her missing talisman.
