As Ilis, she ambushed and killed Abyss King Talus, absorbed his Crystal Core, proclaimed herself Empress of the Abyss, and adopted the name Elise 81. The Thunder God subsequently blessed her and named her his walking presence in the world after she openly challenged him 82.

Her first reign brought technological and social transformation to the Abyss, but also increasingly ruthless rule. After clashing with the Abyss Father God, Elise was presumed dead; Li Qing later altered her past, preventing that death and restoring her with new Life authorities 105 563.
