The Emperor Joker Misses Batman

"Come on, bro. Throwing a tantrum? I'll only say this one last time."

The Emperor Joker was lying in a garbage heap beneath the ground. This was Gotham City in the Prime Universe during The Flash: Rebirth.

In essence, he had already become a Fifth Dimensional Being. Trapping an imaginative creature like him was no easy task for the Anti-Monitor, who currently couldn't leave the era of the Infinite Earths Crisis.

But that didn't mean the Anti-Monitor had no way to deal with him. The Emperor Joker was like a venomous snake that could crawl freely across wet cement. Since the Anti-Monitor couldn't keep an eye on him at all times, he had simply thrown him onto a stretch of already-dry cement and hammered him into place like a nail.

The Flash: Rebirth event took place roughly before Blackest Night. During the Infinite Earths Crisis, The Flash Barry Allen's "wife," Reverse-Flash—his archenemy, Reverse-Flash Eobard Thawne—was rescued from the Speed Force. During the Infinite Earths Crisis, he had originally melted while fighting the Anti-Monitor.

During this event, the Speed Force was torn open by Reverse-Flash. The Anti-Monitor Dragon seized the opportunity and forcefully threw the Emperor Joker here from downstream in the Over-Time Stream.

"Sit down." The Emperor Joker repeated his command.

He held a tiny French fry in his hand.

Beside the garbage heap, a rat stared blankly at the pale-skinned man wearing a strange crown. It tried to eat the French fry, but the Emperor Joker tapped it on the forehead.

"Stupid and adorable. Ugh, just like my life, right?" the Emperor Joker said. "If I were a rat, I might ask you out."

He finally handed the French fry to the rat and watched it eat.
