Superdog Krypto had been living with Lois and Clark from Chen Tao's universe for a long time. Chen Tao hurried over, swooped in, and carried him away. Krypto was very clever, but even his dog brain was inevitably left utterly bewildered.
To Supreme Superboy, Superdog Krypto was nothing more than a stabilizer. The fact that Supreme Superboy had accepted the dog did not mean he would show Chen Tao any warmth.
Krypto was currently held in Supreme Superboy's arms, his doggy face staring at Chen Tao in confusion. Supreme Superboy himself treated Chen Tao like thin air. Without saying a word, he accepted the gift and then continued gazing up at the sky at a forty-five-degree angle.
If anyone asked, he was just sad.
Chen Tao refused to give up. He walked over to Supreme Superboy and tried to continue his talk therapy.
"Get lost," Supreme Superboy said.
He held the dog in his arms. Krypto whimpered, making a sound like "yinyinyin," then stuck out his tongue and licked Supreme Superboy's face.
Chen Tao hurried away in fright.
That was terrifying. Supreme Superboy wasn't joking. If he stayed any longer, the next thing to hit his face would be a fist.
Then he turned his head and saw a construction robot climbing down from a spaceship nearby. Although the hunk of metal didn't seem to have changed at all, Chen Tao could basically guess that behind this mass-produced construction robot, Murder Machine was probably controlling it and watching the spectacle of Supreme Superboy telling him to get lost.
Chen Tao shook his fist at the robot.
Watch yourself, or I'll beat you up.
The construction robot walked away as if nothing had happened.
In short, Chen Tao had completely given up on trying to play the hero card with Supreme
