Superman, Batman, every hero, and all the most famous villains of the Prime Universe.
I have witnessed countless variations of them.
There were Clarks Kents from hundreds upon hundreds of parallel universes. Every one of them was Superman, yet each differed from the Superman Clark Kent in our memories. And of course, there were all those Batmen created by Barbatos.
All kinds of them, a complete mess.
Take, for example, the freaks recruited into Barbatos's Dark Army. Variants as bizarre as Cheetah Wonder Woman and Giganta Wonder Woman had long since numbed me. They could no longer surprise me.
I was certain that these bizarre variants would gradually be cast aside and completely forgotten in the depths of my memories over the course of my long life, leaving not the slightest mark on me.
