"Yo, Bruce."
"Act normal." Chen Tao said.
The moment The Batman Who Laughs opened his mouth, Chen Tao's hair stood on end.
Damn, was there anything more bizarre than this?
The sinister and vicious Batman Who Laughs was speaking to him with a sorrowful expression, one hand pressing down on the struggling William, black smoke billowing from his body under the pressure.
"You'd better let him go first, then talk to me in that disgusting tone of yours."

While nonsensical thoughts spun through Chen Tao's mind, he still tried to decipher The Batman Who Laughs.
He heard the other man continue, "The two of us are both miracles of the Dark Multiverse... I admit that I'm ambitious. But if you had experienced what I experienced... I'm sure you wouldn't necessarily be as kind as you are now."
Chen Tao heard The Batman Who Laughs sigh.
"Sometimes, I'm truly envious of you, you know? You always believe that everything you do has meaning. You always believe that our lives really are about heroes defeating villains and justice defeating evil, rather than merely an absurd one-man show."
