This was the Sixth Dimension.
The so-called Sixth Dimension was the central control room of the DC Multiverse.
Whenever a Sixth-Dimensional God died, they would return to the Sixth Dimension and be reborn within it.
Of course, the resurrection of a Sixth-Dimensional God did not mean they could still retain their former power. Recovering their strength was a long-term process...
But in truth, as long as the DC Multiverse existed, the Sixth Dimension would never perish. Theoretically speaking, the Sixth-Dimensional Gods were therefore immortal and indestructible.
There was no way to kill a Sixth-Dimensional God—not even another Sixth-Dimensional God, or an Outer God like the Empty Hand.
That did not mean the Empty Hand had no way to grievously wound a Sixth-Dimensional God across the universe, however. Mandrakk's parasitic possession of the Monitor had been the result of his and Perpetua's joint creation, and even now, it remained like a bone-deep affliction that refused to fade.
Even now, Mandrakk's true body remained hidden in the Dark Multiverse, resurrecting alongside the Monitor.
(Note: Dark Nights: Metal took place in 2017, and the Monitor was resurrected. Please refer to the 2018 comic The Unexpected, in which Hawkman and the superhero team "The Unexpected" fought Mandrakk.
Since the Thought Robot killed Mandrakk, he has appeared only twice in the history of the DC Multiverse.
The first time, the second Mandrakk was impaled and killed by a giant nail materialized by the Green Lantern Corps, temporarily banishing him. The other time is this one.)
But the Anti-Monitor's current state was somewhat ambiguous.
The history of his death had solidified like concrete, but had not yet been completely smashed apart. The history of his resurrection had only just been established, and had not fully dried...
But smashing apart the solidified history was only a matter
