The Batman Who Laughs heard the Nameless Old Dragon's cold voice. It sounded no different from before, but only The Batman Who Laughs knew how pleased the other party was.

They had been opposing each other for so long that The Batman Who Laughs understood him as well as he understood himself. The other party regarded him as a threat, but this threat was simply too useful, making him impossible to resist.

The Nameless Old Dragon stared at The Batman Who Laughs.

"Oh, of course not, my friend. I thought you had already anticipated that, rather than asking such an obvious question."

"Has anyone ever told you not to take things given to you by Batman?"

"Of course. But unfortunately, I'm Batman too."

After their brief exchange, the Nameless Old Dragon fell silent.

Then he suddenly said, "Fine, but you don't get to take my things for free. The Batman Who Laughs, in a few seconds—or perhaps a dozen seconds—I'll be controlled by the Anti-Monitor, and what you need to do is..."

"What the... You're counting on me for even this?"

The Batman Who Laughs was completely thrown off. In fact, he had already known that the Nameless Old Dragon had accepted the Anti-Monitor's energy and become the Anti-Monitor Bat.
