The Ancestor escaped toward Little White Mountain, while Mo Hua helped spare uninvolved family members and left Master Qian indebted to him.

• Zhang Lan told Mo Hua that the Dao Court had sent Dao Soldiers against White Mountain Stronghold, and Mo Hua joined their operation as an array scout.
• Mo Hua mapped the Mist Forest and repaired a Dao Soldier’s armor, then waited at camp while the Dao Soldiers and Monster Hunters fought the Evil Cultivators.
• After the stronghold fell, Mo Hua studied Fireball Technique and learned Divine Sense Derivation and array disintegration from Mr. Zhuang.
• Mo Hua confronted Qian Xing and learned from Shi Qing that the Qian Family Ancestor had killed a cultivator and fed him to a pig demon in White Mountain Stronghold’s Alchemy Room.

Mo Hua uncovered the Qian Family Ancestor’s evil alchemy, but the resulting demon Feng Xi threatened to force Immortal City to flee. He resolved to learn and build a grand array to kill Feng Xi, and the city agreed to support the attempt.

• Mo Hua helped Commander Yang subdue the Third Leader, uncovered evidence of the Life-Turning Yuan Pill, and helped search the Deep Mountain for the escaped Qian Family Ancestor.
• Mo Hua found Qian Hong completing the pill with Xue Tao’s heart, rang the Bronze Bell for help, and watched the risen pig demon swallow the Qian Family Ancestor before it chased the searchers from the mountain.
• The Dao Court identified the pig demon as Feng Xi, a great demon whose power could overwhelm the city, while Mr. Zhuang explained that the Heavenly Dao Grand Array limited cultivation and made Dao Sins formidable within their regions.
• As Immortal City prepared to relocate, Mo Hua rejected the prospect of simply leaving and resolved to learn a grand array that could protect the Rogue Cultivators and kill Feng Xi.
• Mr. Zhuang taught Mo Hua the Five Elements Demon-Slaying Grand Array, and Mo Hua trained until he could draw its Array Hub correctly.
• Mo Hua presented the eleven-pattern grand array plan to Immortal City, which agreed to build it, and he prepared to use Array Disintegration against Feng Xi if the array failed.

Mo Hua led Immortal City in building the Five Elements Demon-Slaughtering Grand Array and used it to defeat Feng Xi, then earned First-Grade Array Master status and left with Mr. Zhuang. In Shangtai City, Mr. Zhuang set him the goal of strengthening his Divine Sense before Foundation Establishment.

After leaving Qianjia Town, he celebrated New Year’s Eve with his companions while a strange daoist possessed members of the Sun Family and began searching his stolen memories.

• Mr. Zhuang explained that Absolute Array inheritances were scarce, and Bai Zixi took Mo Hua toward a sect to learn an Array Technique she had failed to master.
• In Qianjia Town, Mo Hua repaired the Spirit Farmers’ Soil Cultivation Arrays and learned how the Sun Family exploited the villagers and misused Ancestor Sun’s legacy.
• Mo Hua defeated the Sun Family cultivators who attacked the Spirit Farmers, then learned that their ancestral Absolute Array lay hidden in the Lingtian.
• Using old acreage maps, Mo Hua, Bai Zisheng, and Bai Zixi reconstructed the eleven-pattern Thick Earth Formation, and Mr. Zhuang explained how it used the earth as its Array Medium.
