Ji Shu conquered the Journey to the West Great World, absorbed its forces into the Painted World, and ascended to the Primordial Great World. He restored damaged worlds, recruited Heavenly Soldiers, and arrived in the ruined A Step into the Past World with his laws nearly perfected.

  • Ji Shu conquered the Three Kingdoms world and returned to the Journey to the West World, where he captured the Six-Eared Macaque and learned of Guanyin Bodhisattva’s plan for him to replace Sun Wukong.
  • Ji Shu plundered the Heavenly Court, captured immortals and demons in the Painted World, and collected Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing as Red Boy threatened Tang Sanzang.

Arc 17Ji Shu’s Heavenly Court Plunder

Ji Shu advanced through multiple immortal realms while uncovering the forces draining the worlds, then raided the Heavenly Court and captured powerful immortals and demons in the Painted World. The arc ended with Ji Shu preparing to seize more figures as Red Boy threatened Tang Sanzang.

  • Ji Shu conquered the Three Kingdoms world, absorbed its scattered Five Elements Qi, and left with Guan Yu, Liu Bei, Zhang Fei, and Zhuge Liang.
  • Ji Shu returned to the Chinese Paladin World, reached the Primordial Unity Golden Immortal realm, and crossed back to the Journey to the West World.
  • Ji Shu captured and killed the Six-Eared Macaque, then learned that Guanyin Bodhisattva had enlisted him to replace Sun Wukong in the scripture-seeking party.
  • Ji Shu learned that demons and sacred creatures were being sacrificed or bound to suppress the world's veins, and Phoenix helped him advance through the Golden Immortal realm.
  • Ji Shu looted Tushita Palace and the Heavenly Court, then transplanted the Peach Garden into the Painted World and reached Primordial Unity Golden Immortal perfection.

Arc 18Fall of Heaven and Spirit Mountain

Ji Shu gathered the powers and treasures needed to strengthen the Painted World, then defeated Spirit Mountain and devastated the Heavenly Court. After absorbing their forces, he cultivated in the Peach Garden and merged his selves beyond the River of Fate, becoming harder for the Journey to the West World to divine.

  • Ji Shu captured the Bull Devil King, Nine-Headed Insect, and other banquet guests in the Painted World, where they were killed and their Primordial Spirits bound to the Heaven-Piercing Divine Fire Pillar.
  • Ji Shu captured Yellow-Browed Great King and the Golden-Haired Howler, took their treasures, and later accepted Di Jun’s Three-legged Golden Crow inheritance and learned the Cosmic Star Sea Divine Communication Art.
  • Ji Shu questioned his captives for their techniques, cultivated their methods, and broke through the ninth revolution of the Eight-Nine Arcane Art after the gods shattered his body.
  • Sun Wukong abandoned the pilgrimage after denying that he had rescued Tang Sanzang, while Tang Sanzang awakened Golden Cicada’s memories and resolved to join Ji Shu against the world-refining powers.
  • Ji Shu refined Great Sun Cave-Heaven Worlds, defeated the demons of Lion Camel Ridge, and captured the White Deer Spirit, White-Faced Fox Spirit, Jade Rabbit Spirit, Fairy Chang'e, Black Bear Spirit, and Great King Linggan.
  • With Kunpeng Demon Master’s help, Ji Shu refined nearly ten thousand Cave-Heaven Worlds, then defeated Tathagata Buddha and Spirit Mountain’s forces and absorbed their treasures and captives into the Painted World.
  • Ji Shu destroyed the Heavenly Court’s formations and killed more than two hundred thousand soldiers, then gathered the fallen immortals’ Primordial Spirits into the Painted World.

Arc 19Ascension and the Blood Lotus

Ji Shu mastered the Three Thousand Worlds, subdued their powerful figures, and ascended into the Primordial Great World. There he defeated Vishnu, restored devastated worlds, recruited Heavenly Soldiers, and arrived in Xiangyang to study its laws.

  • Ji Shu attained Grand Unity, conquered the six Grand Unity Immortals, and ordered his allies to unite the Three Thousand Worlds while he refined the captives and strengthened the Painted World.
  • Ji Shu completed his quest, claimed permanent ownership of the Journey to the West Great World, opened an ascension passage, and left through the Gate to the Upper Realm.
  • Ji Shu accepted a quest to become the Primordial Great World’s strongest expert, defeated Vishnu, and learned that the blood-lotus seeds had drained worlds of their vitality.
  • Ji Shu restored the drought-stricken Myth World with rain and holy light, then selected the First Emperor, Xiang Yu, Zhang Liang, Han Xin, Fan Kuai, Meng Tian, and Gao Yao as Heavenly Soldiers.
  • Yi Xiaochuan tried to give his position to Liu Bang, but Ji Shu rejected the request and took the chosen Heavenly Soldiers away, leaving Yi Xiaochuan behind.
  • The First Emperor and the other recruits settled into the Painted World, where they received weapons and manuals and began cultivating under Ji Shu’s rule.
  • Ji Shu arrived above Xiangyang City, brought rain and rapid growth to the devastated lands, and began studying the world’s laws.

Arc 20Across the Lesser Worlds

Ji Shu explored the Fengyun and White Snake worlds, mastered their laws, and recruited gods, martial artists, and other figures as Heavenly Soldiers. After bringing aid to several troubled worlds and selecting new followers, he arrived in the ruined A Step into the Past World with his laws nearly perfected.

  • Ji Shu entered the Fengyun World, killed Tathagata Buddha, and earned the Heavenly Dao’s favor as he studied its laws.
  • Di Shitian led thousands of experts in an attack on Ji Shu, who crushed them and sent their souls into the Painted World before recruiting Nie Feng, Bu Jingyun, Xiong Ba, and others as Heavenly Soldiers.
  • Ji Shu traveled through Fengyun’s history, revived Qin Shi Huang and several divine beasts, and completed his study of the world’s laws of time and space.
  • Ji Shu entered the White Snake world and restored its devastated lands, then recruited Xiao Qing, Xiao Bai, Xu Xuan, Du Dou, and others as Heavenly Soldiers.
  • Ji Shu rescued Bai Yue and the Nine-Headed Serpent from death by binding their true spirits to his Lesser World and sending them to the Painted World.
  • Ji Shu erased invading armies and brought food to the people in Huang Feihong’s and Chen Zhen’s worlds, then recruited Zhao Huaian, Ling Yanqiu, and Yu Huatian in the Dragon Gate Inn World.
  • Ji Shu restored the devastated world of Wei Xiaobao and selected Aobai, Mu Jianping, and Su Quan as Heavenly Soldiers, who returned decades later to settle their mortal affairs.
  • After traveling through many worlds and bringing numerous laws to roughly 98% progress, Ji Shu arrived in the ruined A Step into the Past World.
