Qin He helped restore Great Li under Zhu Ci, then pursued demons, relics, and the lost Heavenly Court’s rituals. After Silent Dharma drew near and a vast explosion cracked the South Heaven Gate, he left to investigate the Cycle Ritual.

  • Wei Wu traveled north with Little Calf after forcing a monk and Daoist to sculpt Great Immortal Green Ox from cow dung.
  • Qin He lured the False Gods into the Heavenly Prison and destroyed many, but returned injured to find Great Li collapsing and Chongzheng’s corpse missing.

Arc 21Fall of Great Li

Qin He lured the False Gods into a trap and destroyed most of them, but Great Li collapsed as Li Chuang’s rebellion took the Capital City. The arc left Qin He investigating the new ruler and Chongzheng’s vanished corpse.

  • Wei Wu forced a monk and a Daoist to sculpt Great Immortal Green Ox from cow dung, then traveled north with the talking Little Calf.
  • After Aquina came to Qin He seeking release from suffering, Qin He refused to destroy his soul and burned him with Southern Ming Li Fire.
  • Qin He used the Flower Grafting Technique and Illusionary Breath Technique to lure the False Gods into the Heavenly Prison, where he killed many with Southern Ming Li Fire and the Big Black Shovel.
  • Qin He defeated Shang Zhan with lightning and fire, but returned injured to find that Chongzheng had surrendered and the Donglin Party had seized control of the court.
  • As Great Li’s forces and supplies crumbled, Li Chuang’s army captured the Capital City, and Qin He met Hou Xiaoliu and learned why he was protecting a little girl.
  • Qin He revealed his identity as Great Immortal Green Ox to Li Huai'an and asked him about the qualities of a good emperor and Li Chuang’s fitness to rule.

Arc 22The Crown Prince Returns

Qin He restored Zhu Ci to the throne, and Great Li reclaimed the Capital City as Shun’s forces fractured. As Qin He and Wang Tie Zhu traveled south, they exposed a river sacrifice scheme and followed the Toad Demon to the ruins of the False Heavenly Court, where they learned of Daoist Lingyun’s cryptic message.

  • Li Yan concealed Chongzheng’s missing corpse, while Qin He buried the emperor’s ashes and arranged for his Lost Soul to be reborn into a good family.
  • Great Immortal Green Ox killed Liu Zongmin, the Shun Army killed Niu Jinxing, and Liu Camp split from Emperor Shun with its soldiers and silver.
  • Qin He rescued Zhu Ci and Ming Wan, then prepared Hou Xiaoliu and the little girl to take up their posts as Shun’s army moved north.
  • Dou Lao Liu reclaimed the Capital City, and Cao Wenzhao and Cao Bianjiao helped Shen Lian defeat the Shun Army at Bazhou.
  • Hou Xiaoliu was revealed as Zhu Ci, who was enthroned as emperor, causing the Golden Dragon of Fortune to destroy the Black Python of Fortune.
  • Li Chuang fled back to the Jin-Shan Region, and Liu Biao surrendered to Great Li after realizing his army was isolated.
  • Qin He and Wang Tie Zhu exposed the Wizard, Master Fan, and the County Official for exploiting Yucheng’s people, and the Toad Demon swallowed the three conspirators.

Arc 23Dragon Palaces and Hidden Relics

Qin He subdued the Scale Demon King and two Dragon Palaces, while the treasures he encountered drew him into new searches across the Capital City. After Little Calf partially transformed, Qin He captured a scheming bird and crossed paths with Imperial Sirs, Fahai, and Wu De, leaving them headed to a bathhouse with the cow.

  • Qin He sealed the Toad Demon into a human form, then turned down Little Calf’s request to transform it.
  • Qin He and his companions defeated the Scale Demon King, captured the Riffle Fish Spirit, and found a Divine Relic while searching for treasure.
  • Qin He feasted at the Wei River Dragon Palace, then destroyed the Yellow River Dragon Palace after the Riffle Fish Spirit reported that its demons had insulted him.
  • Qin He returned to the Capital City, where Little Calf swallowed a defective Form Transformation Pill and gained three-fingered hands while remaining mostly bovine.
  • Qin He burned Liu Changan’s corpse and obtained the Qiankun Stone, then sent Hui Miqiu and the Riffle Fish Spirit to search Heavenly Court ruins for relics.
  • Qin He captured Ma Fei, a Red-beaked Golden Finch, after Little Calf broke the bird’s legs, then knocked out two Imperial Sirs who claimed ownership of him.

Arc 24The Cycle Ritual and Silent Dharma

Qin He restored the Human Path Ritual, learned more about Silent Dharma, and met Foluo, the Great Buddha, before recovering the Beast Path Ritual Apparatus. As Silent Dharma neared and a great spiritual tide struck, Qin He left the damaged South Heaven Gate to investigate the Cycle Ritual.

  • An Onmyoji stole the cracked Golden Egg from the Daoist, and Qin He later learned from the Mystic Water Tortoise King that it resembled a Primordial Corpse Kun Egg Pouch.
  • Qin He used Purple Cloud Divine Thunder to restore the Human Path Ritual around the Cycle Pearl, drawing in sinless departed souls.
  • Qin He tracked King Yama to the Ancient Heavenly Court ruins, learned that the Illusory Shadow was a spirit born from the Heavenly Court, and heard that Silent Dharma was near.
  • Qin He entered Foluo’s imprisoned Buddha Kingdom, debated the Great Buddha, and received a message to deliver to someone in the Abyss before Foluo died.
  • Qin He learned Foluo’s history through the Shadow Play, gained Buddha Kingdom in Palm, and continued clearing imprisoned spirits from the hells.
  • Qin He returned to Capital City as the new emperor reformed trade and relief, while Wang Tie Zhu continued writing the Chronicles of Immortal Green Ox.
