After defeating the corpse demon, Qin He uncovered its partnership with Zhang Yuan and prepared to expose the family’s scheme.

• Wang Tie Zhu and Lamborghini failed to rescue Wei Wu from Cuiqing Brothel, and Qin He later sent Wei Wu cultivation techniques after learning he had been taken to the Imperial Palace.
• Qin He devoured a lightning tribulation, advanced to the middle stage of the True Essence Realm, and discovered the Sumeru Realm contained the graves of people he had buried by the Grand Canal.

Qin He and his companions dealt with the Zhang Family’s risen ancestors while Wei Wu took Li Chenggang’s place and became Crown Prince. As Great Jing prepared to confront Xi Tianlong’s delegation, Qin He sent Ma Fei to watch the fighting and continued searching for Fahai and Wu De.

• Qin He and his companions defeated and cremated the Zhang Family’s zombie ancestors, whose shadow plays revealed that the Zhang Family had built its graves over the Yuan Family’s burial ground.
• After Qin He accepted Zhang Liang’s payment, more corpses rose at Grave Mountain, and the Zhang Family later lost its property to make way for Wei Wu’s temple.
• Great Immortal Green Ox’s Shape-Shifting switched Wei Wu and Li Chenggang at the execution, and Qin He disguised Wei Wu so he could take the vacant throne.
• Wei Wu ordered the Centipede Commander killed and its corpse brought to the capital, then challenged the Bloodwing Bat King and ordered a temple built for the immortal riding a Blue Ox.

Qin He granted prayers and dealt with Heaven Punishing Bureau agents while Little Sable led his companions through the City Moat to a buried temple. There, Wu De and Fahai discovered a vision of the temple’s destruction and confirmed its connection to their ancestor, Daoist Immortal Lingyun.

• Wei Wu executed Xi Tianlong and teased Marquis of Purple Robes by declaring him Crown Prince’s Heir, while Wu De and Fahai searched the Demon Suppression Division for Daoist Lingyun and encountered the Illusion Butterfly Demoness.
• Qin He earned rewards for his demon-slaying deeds, and Great Immortal Green Ox Temple opened as he healed Blind Cheng and other petitioners before cursing a scion who sought to choose among beautiful women.
• Wu De, Fahai, and the Illusion Butterfly Demoness explored a sealed underground passage and reached a flooded expanse, while Lamborghini emerged from the City Moat and fought off Heaven Punishing Bureau agents.
• Qin He examined the agents’ Glass Cage and ordered their bodies retrieved, then followed Little Sable into the City Moat, where he found immense bone piles and a path of Shore Flowers that led him away.

Qin He continued helping worshippers and confronting demons while the Immortal Green Ox Temple drew growing attention. As the Heaven Punishing Bureau prepared to attack, Qin He manipulated the four clans and Wei Wu to prepare for the Golden Armored General’s arrival.

• Little Sable claimed the Dust-Whipping Pearl, and Qin He later returned Fahai’s Demon Subduing Pestle and sent Wu De a Thunder Spirit Pill.
• Qin He killed the Green Snake King after it attacked Huang Li at Sheng Hua Tower, then had Wang Tie Zhu process its corpse.
