Background / History
Little Red Riding Hood is an orphan and one of the children affected by the Fairy Tale Otherworld. She lives at the orphanage where Fairy Tale first erupted and considers it her home, despite its history and dangers. Her parents disappeared in the Black Forest, and she continues to hope to find them. 76 129 130 160
She inherited the “Little Red Riding Hood” identity, one repeatedly borne by prior victims of the Black Forest. The forest is shaped by the deaths and struggles of its predecessors: earlier Little Red Riding Hoods left behind protections such as red threads that slow wolf transformation, supplies in the cabin, safer paths, street lamps, and a rule requiring Wolf Grandma to knock before entering. 118 196
Before adulthood, she served as a Fairy Tale specialist while still attending school, conducting surveillance with her wolf pack and completing homework between assignments. 42 46 76 At the orphanage, she acts as an elder sister and “parent,” welcoming new children, correcting the youngest children’s table manners, performing night patrols, and remaining alert for nightmare-related incidents. 125 126 165
As her eighteenth birthday approached, sleep became increasingly dangerous: she needed little rest, but nearly every sleep risked drawing her into the Black Forest. Her fear of the evil wolf was not merely emotional; it was embedded in her identity and childhood through Fairy Tale. 126 134 139
Yu Sheng’s involvement changed her understanding of the Black Forest. Working together, they rescued Xiao Xiao from Wolf Grandma and discovered clues left by prior Little Red Riding Hoods. Yu Sheng’s theory that the Black Forest was a story governed by a “storyteller,” rather than simply a wolf to be slain, gave her hope that the curse could be changed. 136 143
Following the resolution of the Fairy Tale crisis, her wolf pack and other Fairy Tale members’ abilities remained intact, but children were no longer swallowed by the nightmares or forced into new identities. She began planning to train Xiao Xiao and future wolf-pack users without Ankaela’s influence. 237 238
She turned eighteen and celebrated with her Fairy Tale siblings in the Valley of the Otherworld, receiving a bonfire, cake, and gifts. 327 She later takes charge of Fairy Tale Town during its wartime defense. 550
Appearance
Little Red Riding Hood is a teenage girl usually seen in a dark red coat or red attire associated with her Fairy Tale identity. 46 195
- Long-haired and slender. 195
- Often carries a backpack containing school notebooks and writing supplies. 46

Personality
Little Red Riding Hood is responsible, capable, and notably mature for her age. She balances dangerous fieldwork with schoolwork and helps care for younger children at the orphanage. 46 125 129 She is protective of her fellow Fairy Tale members and speaks about them with the pride and fondness of an eldest sister. 205
Although experienced as a Spirit Realm Detective, she is deeply afraid of the evil wolf and the Black Forest. She recognizes this fear openly, but continues entering the forest, protecting children, and confronting the source of her nightmares. 134 165 238 Fighting back alongside Yu Sheng, Huli, and Eileen gives her a rare sense of joy and liberation. 167 168
She is cautious with outsiders and initially reluctant to expose Fairy Tale’s secrets, but Yu Sheng’s concern and lack of judgment earn her trust. 99 125 126 She also has a practical sense of humor, including using her wolf pack for transport because taxis are expensive. 178
