Li Yan investigated the Shen family’s secrets, entered the ghost city beneath Liangzi Lake, and joined a coalition that destroyed Shi Rou and recovered Mo Sect artifacts. As he traveled toward Mount Wudang, a plague and regional unrest emerged, and Zhang XiaoShan challenged him to teach the Zhang disciples humility.

• Li Yan helped Shen Jinghong settle his family’s funeral and household crisis, then discovered that Master Shen’s key opened a chest containing clues to a treasure near Liangzi Lake.
• Li Yan followed the search for Wu Youxu and Wang Su’s tomb, where Bai Weng Hai’s Maitreya Sect plot drew the Shen family into danger and a Wan Yan attack pulled Li Yan into the ghost city of Gaochang County.

The pursuit of Giant Turtle Master led Li Yan and his companions into the hidden Fuxi Ancient Cave, where Li Yan began breaking Qin Yuner’s control over the turtle.

He defeated Bai Gong and freed the mountain creatures, while Yu Longzi’s troops prepared to confront the Black Scale Lord as an unexpected storm arrived.

• Li Yan escaped the collapsing ruins, recovered the Five Directions Fengdu Banner, and learned that the Heavenly Saint Sect planned to lead a trapped flood dragon down the Ju River.
• Li Yan’s group entered Shennongjia, discovered that Yun Lingzi had trapped the Dragon Girl beneath Dragon Pool Lake, and later found the injured mountain deity Zou Yu, who revealed the flood dragon’s location.
• Li Yan used Zou Yu’s vision to locate the trapped flood dragon and the Heavenly Saint Sect’s waterway works, then prepared a banner formation and explosives against the approaching Long Xiang Army.
• Li Yan and his allies destroyed the Long Xiang Army’s forces and killed Guo Xiu, while Yun Lingzi completed the ritual that freed Dragon Pool Lake from the Dragon Suppression Stake.
