On the mountain, the girls’ divine energy drew hostile factions and hidden immortals, while Lu San gained a new cultivation opportunity and the group searched for the Goddess Palace’s secrets.

• Li Yan helped stop the Black Jiao’s flood, then returned to Yunyang as the Heavenly Saint Sect’s rebellion was crushed and Yu Chanzi warned him about Zhao Changsheng.
• While traveling through the mist, Li Yan and his companions confronted the Black Evil Omen at an ancient saltworks, sealed it, and rescued Wu Chao Yun and Wu Xing Yu.
• The Sichuan Salt Gang tried to seize the girls on the river, but Aunt Long intervened and Bai Huan invited Li Yan’s party to her residence.
• Bai Huan revealed that the girls possessed divine firmament energy and asked Li Yan’s group to escort her family to Qingcheng Mountain, while planning to retrieve the girls’ life plaques from Mount Wu.

• Li Yan’s group descended toward a hidden aperture as Wang MengSheng urged Zhu to leave Mount Wu, and the Three Sisters arrived with Lu Jiu, whose pink dust made Salt Gang members attack themselves.

Li Yan uncovered the Salt Gang’s plots and survived the trials and demonic threats around Fengdu and Azure Ox Temple. After defeating Wang MengSheng and his allies, he led his companions toward Chongqing Prefecture, where they settled in a hidden residence and prepared for what lay ahead.

• Li Yan shattered the Stone Platform beneath Goddess Peak, escaped with his companions through a waterway, and learned that the King of Shu wanted the girls’ divine qi to search for the Elixir of Immortality.
• Li Yan agreed to help Cui Song investigate the Drought Demon, destroyed its corpse-raising ground, and continued upriver to Fengdu after a Chengdu merchant vanished.
• Li Yan completed the Yellow Springs Road trial on Famous Mountain, obtained two jade carvings, and returned to Fengdu as the Water Tiger’s demonic calamity spread through the city.
• Li Yan and his companions exposed the Salt Gang’s schemes around Azure Ox Temple, entered the miasma-filled valley, and defeated Kumu and the possessed Abbot before capturing Ma SanTong.
• Wang MengSheng and the Sacred Maiden of the Incense Smelling Sect attacked Li Yan’s group, but Li Yan used Yin Soldiers to overcome them and keep the Wish-Fulfilling Pearl.
• After Meng ChangGui warned that the Salt Gang, Shu King Residence, and naval forces had reached Fengdu, Li Yan’s group escaped with Yu Longzi’s help and traveled toward Chongqing in disguise.
• Li Yan’s group passed through Chaotian Gate, rented an abandoned residence, and found a corpse in its well while Li Yan examined the spoils taken from the Wushan Earth Immortals.
• Li Yan gave Wang Dao Xuan books to study and tested his strengthening Dharma Body as the group gathered in Chongqing, where a servant arrived to hire an opera troupe for a funeral.

Li Yan and his companions dealt with Chongqing’s curses and political violence before splitting up to investigate new dangers across Shu. The arc ended at Marquis Wu Shrine, where the Lute Worm emerged from a grave as Li Yan, Pei Yu Fang, and Tang Ling pursued it.

• Li Yan helped the Wu Troupe escape a curse at the Zhou residence, then joined the authorities in confronting Huo Jiao at the Dragon King Temple, where he captured the Female Yaksha and Huo Jiao died.
• Li Yan’s group traveled to Zouma Town, where he investigated the Gray-robed Mad Monk and learned of suspected living sacrifices near Chongqing Prefecture.
• Li Yan sent Wang Dao Xuan and Wu Ba to investigate the suspected families, while Sha LiFei and Lu San sought the Tea Immortal and obtained Spirit Tea.
• Li Yan traveled to Chengdu and learned that Long Yan'er planned to form a new Natal Gu, while a royal-residence plot involving a Stone Coffin unfolded on Dragon Spring Mountain.
• Pei Yu Fang and a masked spellcaster killed the Monk Sect brothers after they stole the Stone Coffin, which was connected to a search for the Dragon Palace Water Mansion and the Elixir of Immortality.
• Li Yan investigated the deaths at Marquis Wu Shrine and learned that victims had vanished after hearing lute music, while Tang Ling and Pei Yu Fang planned to capture the Faceless Young Master and the Lute Worm.

Li Yan fought the Shu King Residence’s hired killers while following the Du family’s links to the Ghost Cult and the Nanchong calamity. As Sha LiFei and Wang Dao Xuan investigated Shitilavana and the Jiang God Great Lord, Li Yan tracked the Du family’s sacrifice procession to Decapitation Village.

• Tang Ling killed Pei Yu Fang, while Li Yan took the ancient lute and returned to Dragon Spring Post as the Faceless Young Master fled.
• Li Yan learned the Shu King Residence had placed a bounty on him, then rode toward Sha LiFei while challengers and pursuers gathered around his name.
• Sha LiFei and Lu San fought Maitreya Sect members at a ruined temple and suspected the Ksitigarbha statue concealed Shitilavana.
• Li Yan killed Wang Han in a public duel, then joined Luo An’s boat and fought off the Du family and Black Fish Gang’s attack.
• Wu Yuqing told Li Yan that the Du family patriarch might be a Ghost Sect fiend, and Li Yan killed Ghost Painted Face and Jin Cuilian after they tried to curse him.
