• Li Yan organized an assault on the Shu King Residence, where Yang Chenghua revealed himself as Erlang and killed Situ Qian while Li Yan summoned Marshal Wen to attack Lu Sheng’s ritual.
• Li Yan reached the Nine Cauldrons with Cheng JianXin’s help, killed Li Wenyuan with heavenly lightning, and fought Lu Sheng, who briefly suppressed the Jingzhou Cauldron with a spirit-beast hide.

Li Yan uncovered Wang Xuanmo’s plan to use the Six Kingdoms Demon Army and the Suihou Pearl Serpent to draw out the Yu Province Cauldron. After defeating Wang Xuanmo, Li Yan helped suppress the cauldron and returned to a calmer Luoyang, while Madam Pei stayed behind awaiting Shen SanYou.

• Madam Pei warned Li Yan’s group that Luoyang had grown dangerous, and Li Yan learned that Shen SanYou had changed after investigating the Paper Figure Case and Mount Mang.
• Li Yan rescued Golden Eye Feng from prison, then recovered a hidden item from the ghost market and learned that Wang Xuanmo had returned to Mount Mang.
• A captured Ikkō-shū monk revealed Wang Xuanmo’s plan to incite rebellion, and Li Yan’s group went to Mount Mang to rescue Zhao the Donkey.
