As unrest spread through Shu and Living Underworld Messengers were murdered, Wu Qu left to investigate a traitor, while news arrived that Qingcheng Mountain had chosen a new sect leader.

• Li Yan killed Zuo ShouQuan, discovered the ancient prison of the Flying Head Liao demon god, and used its Po Jun banner to strengthen his armguard into the Thousand Thoughts.
• Li Yan entered Shitilavana to help Sha LiFei complete his ritual, and Sha LiFei awakened Body Mystical Power as Li Yan gained a Thunder Manor Token.
• Li Yan and his allies broke the Dragon Daughter Temple’s Ghost Marriage array, defeated Dragon Worship Sect fighters, and helped Wang Dao Xuan awaken the Sichuan River Water Mansion Dragon King.
• Li Yan learned that the Dragon Worship Sect was trying to destroy Water God temples and cause floods, then joined Feng Lao Hai in reclaiming the Salt Gang while confronting the Shu King Residence’s plans.
• Li Yan settled old grievances at Looking River Tower, raided the Shu King Residence’s Oil Press Workshop, and warned Guangde Temple about the Dragon Worship Sect.

Li Yan pursued the Fengdu Method and rebuilt his Divine Tower while Sha LiFei and the others uncovered the Shu King Residence’s hunt for the Dragon Palace Water Mansion and were pursued by the Ghost Opera Troupe. The group defeated Granny Chang and her allies, but Li Yan warned that the troupe’s return could bring greater trouble.

• Li Yan learned that the Dragon Palace Water Mansion required the Dragon Pattern Jade Tablet, accepted the Cheng family’s commission to protect the Fifth Prince, and traveled to Qingcheng Mountain with Wang Dao Xuan.
• Li Yan discovered that Jue Chenzi was a Celestial Master and chose the Fengdu Method, then bought the White Jade Capital carving and used it to reshape Luo Feng Mountain and build his Fourth Floor.
• Sha LiFei, Lu San, and Wang Tianzuo investigated Lu Lao Hei’s death and found evidence connecting the Meishan Brothers, the Dragon Palace Water Mansion, and the Shu King Residence’s search for an unknown possession.
• The Twelve Yuan Chen fought off the Shu King Residence’s gunmen and a Loose Hair Sect sorcerer, then fled into the snowy mountains as Granny Chang and the Ghost Opera Troupe tracked them.
• Granny Chang’s troupe attacked Sha LiFei’s group with puppets, illusions, and sorcery, but Li Yan arrived and stopped Gou Wa’s attack before defeating Xie SanYang.
• Li Yan helped Wang Dao Xuan curse Granny Chang while Sha LiFei, Lu San, and Wu Ba broke the troupe’s illusion and poison attacks, and Granny Chang died under their combined assault.

Li Yan uncovered the King of Shu’s occult schemes and gathered allies as the King seized control of Chengdu. The group escaped through hidden passages and regrouped at Yu King Temple, where they began planning how to resist him.

• Li Yan joined Xiao Jinghong’s defense, investigated the Ghost Opera Troupe, and uncovered evidence of the King of Shu’s crimes with Xu Yongqing’s help.
• During the Kitchen God Festival, Li Yan discovered that the Ghost Opera Troupe had infiltrated the Shu King Residence and learned that the King of Shu had sent its treasures to Dujiangyan.
• Li Yan investigated attacks around Chengdu, joined forces with Yang Chenghua against Tian Qi Ye, and learned that Lu Sheng was pursuing the Nine Cauldrons.
• After Qingyang Palace’s swordsmen killed Yun Lingzi and framed Li Yan, the King of Shu’s forces occupied Chengdu and killed people trying to flee.
• The Faceless Young Master led Sha LiFei, Wang Dao Xuan, and Lu San through secret tunnels while Li Yan returned to Xiao Jinghong and discovered that the Princess Consort was a living corpse.
• Li Yan and his allies fought their way out of the Huaiqing Carriage Guild as Ghost Opera Troupe members and the Black Feather Guard attacked, then escaped into a passage leading to the Shu King Residence.
• At Yu King Temple, Li Yan reunited with Wang Dao Xuan and the others, learned the King of Shu controlled the garrisons with a Bewitching Soul Spell, and discussed destroying the New-Style Gunpowder stores.

Li Yan and his allies struggled to stop the Shu King’s schemes as curses and Divine Enchantment consumed Chengdu. The arc ended with Li Yan confronting Lang Wu at Qingyang Palace, where the Dragon Worship Sect channeled the temple’s incense into a ritual aimed at Dragon Girl.

• Li Yan and his allies battled the Blood Basin Holy Mother and escaped Chengdu’s forces, while Yang Chenghua reconsidered the meaning of the incense offerings he had absorbed.
• The Faceless Young Master’s attempt to free the First Prince ended in disaster when the garrison killed the prince and besieged the residence, forcing Li Yan’s allies to fight their way out.
• Li Yan discovered that the God of Joy Coins were cursed and learned that the false King of Shu’s plans involved the Nine Cauldrons and Dujiangyan.
• Li Yan and Yang Chenghua uncovered Qingyang Palace’s ritual to reclaim divine essence from Dragon Girl, while Qingcheng experts attacked Zhao Jie’s forces at Dujiangyan and drove him into the river.
• As Chengdu’s people succumbed to a curse and then Divine Enchantment, Li Yan learned that a ritual at Qingyang Palace targeted Dragon Girl and led a Flower God Parade there with her jade tablet.
• Li Yan and his allies fought through corrupted Qingyang Palace Daoists and found the elders dead, then he confronted Lang Wu as the Dragon Worship Sect channeled the temple’s incense into its altar.
