Background / History

Qin Yang began as an ordinary mortal captured by the evil cultivator Xuan Chengzi and designated a “Medicinal Seed” for alchemical refinement. During his first life, he trusted Xuan Chengzi’s promise to teach him Immortal Arts; after restarting, he understood that the “master” intended to use him as material for a Great Elixir. 2

His death activates a system that resets his karma and allows him to inherit one category from his previous life: cultivation, a cultivation method, or a heavenly material or earthly treasure. This lets him repeatedly revisit earlier events with retained experience, though he must choose carefully what to preserve between lives. 6 201 355

In his early loops, Qin Yang was betrayed by Bai Feng, poisoned through the Soul Locking Pill, and tortured by Xuan Chengzi’s disciples.
