Background / History

The Tianyin Sect is an evil sect whose core inheritance includes the Spirit Seed Creation True Scripture and the Five Elements Refinement Technique. Xuan Chengzi stole half of the True Scripture and the Five Elements Refinement Technique while his master was in seclusion, making him a sect traitor subject to severe punishment if he returned. 103

The Spirit Seed Creation True Scripture is regarded as the Tianyin Sect's most important secret art and foundation. Cultivators entangled with its karma can be tracked through karmic deduction, and the sect seeks to capture such individuals for sacrifice to the Evil God. 132 140

After Qin Yang acquires and cultivates the sect's stolen techniques, Tianyin Sect Saintesses Shi Yunlu, Bai Huanxin, and Chu Mengfan pursue him. Their objective is to capture him alive and return him to the sect as an offering to the Evil God. 137 140

The deaths of the three Saintesses and Grand Elder Wei Yuan leave the Tianyin Sect in a weakened state. Its loss of an Evil God's sacred artifact, the absence of Lu Yan, and the disappearance of other senior figures cause a marked decline in the sect's strength. 182 256
