Lanqi helped Hughberlian reach Antanas by surviving the Negative Fourth Floor’s illusions, then persuaded Antanas to leave prison and seek Talia. On the Negative Fifth Floor, Lanqi defeated his phantom and gained the Hopeless Mark, while Talia sensed someone close to her had become a Great Demon Race and planned to visit the Wilford Family.

• Hughberlian entered the Negative Fourth Floor’s illusion, relived a childhood with her family, and awoke after the Poet of Great Love helped her escape Fallen Gentle Land.
• Lanqi guided Hughberlian to Antanas, revealed the Poet of Great Love’s resemblance to Talia, and persuaded Antanas to help them despite her doubts about finding Talia.
• Antanas agreed to leave without a Slave Contract, received a new identity through a Ba Tian Priest’s transformation, and gave the Poet of Great Love her Guardian Mark.
• Lanqi entered the Negative Fifth Floor alone, met the wounded Warden Melissa, and followed her through the labyrinth as she fought its phantoms.
• Lanqi lured out his Tier 8 phantom, the Poet of Great Love, and used the Nuclear Fusion Wolf to defeat and seal her.

Lanchi and his companions rescued Sinora and Planai from Helrom Prison and gained their Demon Race Marks. Planai agreed to leave with the Poet of Great Love after warning that the Protos Empire faced a looming crisis, while the group prepared to learn more about the forces behind it.

• Lanchi confirmed Sinora and Planai were imprisoned on Helrom Prison’s lower floors and entered Sinora’s cell with Antanas and Hughberlian.
• The Poet of Great Love persuaded Sinora to leave prison, and she gave Lanchi the Law-Breaking Mark before taking on a new identity in the Protos Empire.
• The group reached Planai’s floor, where the Poet of Great Love passed the prison’s trials and Antanas and Sinora found Planai bound in his cell.
• Planai warned that the Protos Empire might fall within years and that the Bishop Election in three days could mark a turning point, but he initially refused to leave.
• The Poet of Great Love reassured Planai, promised to protect his peace of mind, and convinced him to come along.

Lanchi brought Planai, Antanas, and Sinora out of Helrom Prison and reunited them with Sigrid as the Bishop Election approached. Sigrid challenged Askesang to a deathmatch and fought him with three demon allies summoned from cards, while Askesang’s clone spotted Luo Qi McCarthy among the northern nobles.

• The Poet of Great Love helped Planai escape Helrom Prison with Antanas and Sinora, then Lanqi guided them through the Void Gate and introduced them to Hughberlian.
• Lanqi reunited with Sigrid at Gloria’s residence, then revealed his identity to Planai, Antanas, and Sinora at the Redmond Building and appointed them as his hands.
• Duke Morodian questioned Lanqi about the election and Sigrid, while Lanqi refused to detain him and said the Final Battle was not that day.

After Sigrid exposes Duke Morodian and the Bishop Election swings to the Ba Tian Sect, Lanchi prepares to leave Helrom and reunites with his companions in Ikelite. At the Wilford estate, Talia discovers her portrait, while Hughberlian and Talia begin to grow closer as danger gathers around them.

• Sigrid kills Askesang, claims the Primordial Slab-Seal, and accuses Duke Morodian of the Northern Border massacre before Parliament.
• Luo Qi reveals that he is the Ba Tian Holy Son, and Morodian flees after Loren’s Holy Protection Wind shields Parliament Hall.
• Lanchi says goodbye to Sigrid, who gives him the Primordial Slab-Seal, then leaves for Ikelite with his companions.
• Lanchi returns to the Wilford estate and finds Talia studying the portrait he painted of her, prompting an awkward confrontation with Hughberlian.
